cmon, there aren't that many FF cameras, and excitement when the market is expanded by two very new concepts seems pretty normal to me.

I was more excited about the Df, mainly because I prefer OVF cameras, but I should also add that I was also more disappointed, whereas the A7 is looking pretty interesting and making me want to give EFVs a real chance via a camera rental rather than just a few minutes in the store.

The sony is actually like 1000 times more exiting. It's mirroless and is the future. While the nikon is just a retro style DSLR... Pretty disapointing IMHO, Nikon could have made a mirroless FF camera and it's would have been awesome.

Pretty much, Sony actually doing something new, Nikon (in this instance) putting current technology in a faux old box, (a very pretty box, but still).

I have nothing against mirrors in cameras, at all, I'm quite happy with them as they are, but it's interesting seeing the developments.
