We got back from Italy!

This was taken inside our building. Dana and Lina were very much enjoying it all.

Again, the colors! It was a "Reala World".

Local men were often dressed very sharp.

Nice photos Raid!

I love the bike racing one, the subject and the setting are really cool!

In regards to the rental, I did leave the airport uneasy, watched as another customer had an argument over a mysterious fee, and the attendants couldn't be more nonchalant, would chat in italian and laugh, etc. Luckily, no issues with the car, but I was very careful as I didn't want to find out what a scratch would cost me.

Italy is absolutely lovely, and it looks like you visited some great spots! Looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you, Fred.

It was a bad penalty for us when we returned the rental car. It is real rip-off. I am not giving up a Penny though. I have been before through such a case.
The Hertz guy said "Hertz in Italy is different from Hertz in the USA". We had to pay several hundred EUROs for getting service via Hertz for fixing a flat tire and for jump starting the car!

We started our Italy trip at the beach resort Rimini. I will post some photos from there too.

Thank you, Mike. I had a blast there. I very much enjoy taking photos, and when you are in such an environment as Tuscany, things come easy.
I saw almost every day such views, where a walkway leads to "light" at the end. The M9 is a great camera overall. I used the camera a lot in this trip, and I got very comfortable with it. I do not think that I want any other digital camera for a very long time.

The beaches are quite different from the beaches in Pensacola, and it is very difficult for us to view other beaches as beautiful as Pensacola Beach with its white sands and dunes. Still, the atmosphere of being in Italy, with the Gelati and Cappuccini and pasta and of course the history, all of those factors made Rimini a very nice place to visit. It was still off season, so Dana and Lina had all the places to themselves.

The historical downtown of Rimini was very interesting. It was more modern looking than Siena, but it had several very old buildings.

Of course, Dana and Lina had to get some balloons.

There are thousands of sunshade umbrella bases on the beach, which differs from our natural looking beaches in NW Florida.

Some places look so rundown from outside, but they may look magnificent from inside. (like some people do)
