Finished a 24-exp roll of Kentmere 400 in the FE2 this morning. tough, tough, quickly changing lighting with a hard cold front blowing scattered clouds before it; perfect conditions for the FE2's AE.
will soup the film tonight.
petri ccs 2.8 and FED-2 may get a little exercise today, too ...

Social event on Sat night.
Took the Pany digi as no Mju and can`t decide on a suitable replacement.

Came home from a visit for a pre-Christmas dinner to find that the fresh snow looked interesting under the street-lights and on a gaggle of bikes chained up outside. I shot around 20 shots on Kodachrome in an M, and two rolls of b+w 120 in a P6. This was all between 01:30 and 03:00 this morning . . . oops. It was still snowing and rather windy so everything got soaked and cold, but no harm done.

Michael, would you like to have my Stylus 3.5? or the One touch?

That`s very kind of you Paul but I`m still debating what will be the best option for what I would term a social camera ie one that you can pocket and pull out and shoot ...no fuss.
Plenty of discussions on here about that I know so I can`t understand why I`m being so indecisive.
I used the Pany FX3 this weekend but the shutter lag drives me nuts.
I try not to use the flash because , like the Mju, it`s too strong.
I still haven`t given up trying to find the Mju.
Little begger will probably be being a cushion somewhere or inside the dog
.
Thank you again though.

I have been shooting some kentmere 400 in my FED-2/I-61 also. This stark shift in weather and light has turned on the creative switch; perhaps I can shoot my line of Tom petty today or tonight ...

Right that`s it
No more dithering...I`m on to Ffordes in the morning for another Mju.
It was just so useful...if the other does turn up brhind a cushion or in a pocket I haven`t checked yet so be it.

I also like the Stylus and the Stylus EPIC for camera size and lens.

It is a cold friday morning here in Pensacola.
My nose is running, but my spirits are high!
I will make sure to shoot whatever I have left in Kodachromes this weekend.
What will you be up to?

I'm going to hit Madison Ave in NYC with my M8 to make photos of some of the ridiculous window displays I've seen there.

Have a shoot lined up with a lovely young lady at one of the Art Deco Inns in DC will be testing my M8 as well as using the M6 to shooting HP5 and the Zeiss 533/16 to shoot Tri-X. Going to be shooting about 4 hours so I figure 4 rolls of HP5, 6 Rolls of Tri-X and 100 or so frames of Digital.

I picked up a new Summilux this week, so I'll head out to Kabukicho and the area around the east exit of Shinjuku station and do a little street shooting. With any luck I might also find some good deals at the used camera shops in the area.

I'm meeting my family for a brief Canadian Christmas in Phoenix. My sister wants photos of her and her boyfriend since she had some MS complications swelling up her face and eyes at the time of my wedding in May. So, as part of her gift I'm doing it the old fashioned way. What's a good B&W film for portraits?

As long as the lighting is good or I can use a tripod Arista-Premium 100/Plus-X is my favorite B&W film for shooting people.

Tonight, I hope to shoot a photo for the tom waits lyrics contest. Since it's an RFF contest, I
'll use the FED-2/I-61 kit and kentmere 400. saturday and sunday? perhaps another line or two. I could finish a roll of kentmere in the FE2 today ...

For some reason I prefer Plus-X more in 120, not so much in 35 (which is what I'll be shooting). I have a roll of FP4 (which I may use) as well as Pan F Plus and T-Max 100, and AP400 just in case. I'm not exactly sure were I'll be shooting these photos, but since it's Phoenix, there'll probably be a lot of light.
