Shooter of Film...
I first thought that you don't want your kids!
" I took the kids (20 & 19) to the park to shoot them"

I do get funny looks from people when I say that too...

I have a meeting to attend to tomorrow (Saturday) which will probably take most of the day. On Sunday, if light permits, I'll continue photographing my little 'City Life in ...' project, probably using my recently aquired CV 2/28 on a R4m (instead of my usual Snapshot Skopar 4/25 / Bessa L outfit).
Should the weather be too bad I have one or two films to develop and scan.

Off to the Rockies for skiing, with a stop at my sister's in Denver = shoot her punks.
Debating whether to take the R-D1 on the lifts ... lovely scenery at Vail once you're off front side and into the back bowls and then onto Blue Sky. If so ... VC 25/4? Canon 35/2.8? Then there's my pocketable iii+elmar.
I've got a water/cold/shock proof lumix that will definitely be in me pocketses no matter what.

I have been more than once to the Rocky Mountains National Park. It is a great place for photography.

Done.
The sun is shining today, a beautiful winter light, very cold blues; I hope it will be intersting colors Trough The Viewfinder of the Argus 75; a lot of flary pictures I guess too…
Very difficult to approach some places in the Industrial Zone : everywhere, labels with "NO PHOTO" on.
Security agents checked me several times, but with the Argus 75, I don't seem to be a terrorist…
Now I must see if the pictures are good or not…

I fumbled with my box cameras. The one that is in the original condition (Box Tengor 56/2) I had forgotten the switch to T-position - and the one I had converted to a pinhole I forgot NOT to switch to T-position... so I ruined two perfect rolls of film.

I used the Rollei 2.8D with B&W film and the 3.5F with color film yesterday. I also took a few photos with the 35/1.4 pre-asph Lux on the M6. I am working on getting used to using a 35mm lens over a 50mm lens.

I took today some photos with the Rolleiflex TLR and some with the Hexar RF and a Summicron 50mm lens.

friday night, the bride and i went to a craft store in the city.
today was a duals high school wrestling meet fairly close by; my bride keeps score for our team and i tagged along. made some shots with the fe2 and fed-2 on the school grounds.
on the way home on a beautiful afternoon, we stopped at a coal mine pelletizing plant where i made some shots with the two cams: tri-x in the fe2, fuji 200 in the fed-2.
tonight, i grilled ribeyes and the bride baked big ol' taters that we smothered with butter and sour cream. yum.
sunday? we'll see ...

Paul: I took the girls to Fort Pickens this morning, where we walked on the nature trail. There are a couple of Blue Herons there. I used the Rollei for some photos of the Herons.

Got a roll of Tri-X in the F2 to finish. Hoping to catch a few shot where ever I end up watching the only important football game of the season (the one that starts at 2:00 CST

excellent, Raid. i look forward to those shots.
have any of y'all ever had a quick photo outing where shots just leapt in front of you, begging to be caught? and in your home stomping ground?
i had one of those this morning. the sky was overcast yet bright enough to shoot at a decent shutter speed with tri-x: f2.8 to f5.6 at the ae's 1/250 or so. i saw so many "new" things just 100 yards or so away on the river and slough.
gotta finish the roll of 24 so i can process the film tonight ...

So, I have 2 and 1/2 hours by this schedule, pizza will be delivered around half time, and I hope to sit in front of the tube in the bedroom watching while I am hopefully scanning this mornings processed rolls.
