It is Saturday in the USA, and the weekend looks good so far. We have gorgeous weather here in Pensacola. The water looked ice blue yesterday as I was driving home along Escambia Bay. The sun had turned the sky into shades of pink and purple, and it felt so good to be here.
What are you doing this weekend?

Saturday morning. Damp out today, cool and cloudy. Start of a week off.
I'll take my walk at nine as usual, camera in hand. Which one I'm not sure yet. Perhaps something with a normal lens today.
Hopefully do some more photography over the course of the week. There's a lot I'd like to do over the course of the week off...

On a bit of a hiatus from shooting as I consider what's next. A photographer in need of a project. And still working on the eternal move from Zenfolio to Squarespace.

I so much need to finish off the last 2 frames in the Holga 120n. Then It's between the Canon AV-1 SLR, Canonet, or Bessa R. Wish I could remember what film I loaded in the SLR.

It's cold, humid with gray skies... Close the curtains, turn up the heating and stay home. I'm flying to Budapest tomorrow and hopefully will find better conditions there.

Whatever the weather there, I'm envious. I'm your basic homebody, but Eastern Europe is one place I'd love to visit. Enjoy.

In bed still!
I have two rolls to finish today at some point. I also need to weed through the cabinet. Lots to do as the holiday season kicks off so soon!

I like looking at this thread occasionally as it makes me think about / plan what I might get up to at the weekend. However, lately, the emphasis is on "might".
I don't know why but, over the past year, I've had so much on my plate that has just got in the way of my best attempts to commit to anything that looks remotely like a plan. The only exception, I suppose, was our holiday to Malta. I didn't take mobile phone or any other means of being contacted - so we just got on with it.
This coming weekend, I'm hoping to get some autumn / winter tree scenes. Windy but dry with some pronounced cloud formations would be my preference. It'll probably rain.

It is weekend, and we have more time for some relaxation (I hope). Actually, it is already Sunday . I used my E-P2 and E-PL1 yesterday for a sunset close to Destin (Florida). I tried out my Canon 7.5 fisheye lens for a 15mm fisheye perspective, plus the Zeiss 85/1.4,

I know the feeling, Paul. It took me several weekends until I found the will to search for some "lost" M 4/3 adapters in a closet, and I found them yesterday!
The Malta trip sounds like fun.

My dad gave me an indefinite loan of his Pentax K10d when I was at his house for our family's Thanksgiving celebration. I might go for a walk with it this afternoon (if the drizzly stuff turns to snow) with it.
Have film in three other cameras but am getting very low on film so I am not shooting those much until I restock. I actually have more 120 film right now than 135...never thought that would happen!
I am also trying to educate myself a bit about something else my dad gave me at Thanksgiving; over the years my grand father gave each of us kids a silver dollar for our birthdays. Dad kept them all until now and so I have a small assortment of Morgan and Peace dollars. I need to sort out what I have and what I'm going to do with them--granddad's intent was to give us something of value, he was not a coin collector and didn't value money for it's own sake but for what it could do. So, I will likely keep one and sell the rest. The value of these, to me, is not the coins but the birthday cards they were enclosed with( which dad also kept.
). I am figuring out the best way to photograph them with the gear I have.

I'm in Portland for the 4 day weekend.
Yesterday we had bouts of sunshine, rain, sleet, hail and even snow.
ALl the time I was hiking around downtown and the river.
I'm itching to see how these two rolls of film I shot come out.

Something different for me this weekend. I shot and processed roll of Tri-X as the start of a return-to-film experiment. I tried stand development in Rodinal--a bad idea with not a very good outcome. I thiink to get a good sense of this I need to stick with more traditional processing for now.

The weekend is just around the corner, and even though I am enjoying a break from work, a weekend stays a weekend and people hopefully have some extra time for relaxation.
I used today the Canon 50/1.5 on the M8 for some family photos.
What are your plans for the weekend?

I start a week-long conference in downtown Chicago on Saturday. The forecast is decent (for Chicago), so I hope to get out regularly for walks along Lake Michigan and some street shooting. As usual, with my GR and X-Pro. And I'll be taking along a Christmas gift for inspiration -- Robert Frank In America.

My m7 is just back from an RF adjustment and I think I'll shoot a roll of XP2, I'm in a B&W mood but due to logistic reason now I have no time/space for my own developing silver B&W! Think to use the Heliar 50/F2 and maybe trying the CV75/F2,5
