Sifting through old photos for a Centennial Project I was asked to be part of. And I may take my M3 for a walk. Cold outside, but at least no snow.

This was a special weekend after Christmas. I took some photos of Pelicans, but we did not travel because of COVID-19. I hope that you have had an enjoyable extended weekend. What were you doing?
A neighborhood walk in the snow that fell on Christmas Day, found a few photos. Including one documenting an act of vandalism in which someone had pushed a postal clusterbox off its moorings, prompting me to call in a police report. A social good turn for the day...

It is now Friday evening in the USA where we live, so tomorrow will be a sunny but cool Saturday for us. I want to continue using my film cameras plus the M8.
What will you be up to this weekend?

Cold and dreary here in northern Michigan. I'll spend some time photographing art for the next exhibit at our local art gallery, and spend many hours Photoshopping a few hundred pics I took this past Monday of a local model. Also process a roll of Eastman 5222-XX.

I need to learn the Canon Digital Photo Pro software, so I'll probably edit the photos I shot last weekend and play around a little more with my EOS M50 if the weather permits.

Being that we are having one of the warmest and driest winters in Wyoming so far, I’m going to see how accessible the trails are in the Wind River Range tomorrow. Of course “warm” being a high of 32f or 0c and a fair bit of wind...

Weather is very variable here and we are still in semi lockdown time (orange alert, allowed to go out but not away from the town where you live) I think if weather will be good I'll go for a walk in the neighborhood or with the m10 to continue the "my neighborhood project" or maybe to change a little with the Nikon FM2T and a B&W film. If weather will be bad more time with editing...

No photography this weekend. I'll be shoveling snow and painting cabinets. Maybe next weekend.

I may just leave our home for the sake of leaving the home to see some people on the street and to feel better this way.

Good to see everyone getting vaccinated. Pfizer here.
Thinking of taking a stroll with the 50mm Elmar f3.5 and a 40's Summitar I just got and cleaned up to compare and contrast 'em.

Beware the 2nd vaccine.
Many, myself included, have had severe flu-like symptoms the day after, lasting ~24 hours. Brief but intense so I wouldn't plan on anything taxing.

Hmmm, I prefer not to see people onthe streeet ! Or at elast to seem them far away, 2 meters minimum but 5 or even 10 much better !
No vaccine available here, I imagine I'll have to wait till next summer...
Meantime I decided if sunny I'll go out with the M10, if cloudy Nikon FM2T and B&W film!

I also want people to stay far away from me, Robert.
It seems that Johnson & Johnson has a vaccine that next will be studied by the FDA to either approve its use or deny the permission based on the data on the trials.
UWF still does not fund any international travel for attending conferences. Even the US conferences may have to be attended virtually. It is also less costly.

Probably will work to finish the last few shots of FP4+ in my F3 to test out that film in conjunction with Diafine. Unfortunately the weather is forecasted to be fairly rainy so I doubt I'll make it onto any local trails.
Not interested in using vaccines released only under EUA that lack long term efficacy and side effect data review from both manufacturer/regulatory agency and independent researchers. I'll work to keep my body and immune system as healthy as possible. This particular coronavirus is largely now endemic like all the others as well as influenza, rhinoviruses, etc. and I'll be keeping my body as healthy as possible in order to help contribute to herd immunity if I ever did/do end up with it.

I have been skipping my daily walks recently, today the first in 10 days, and I can tell I'm out of shape. Cut it short after snapping a couple shots of a red Ford Falcon pickup, unusual, with M240 and C-Sonnar. Try again tomorrow!

I just returned from a two-hour motorbike/photography trip in the Saigon suburbs. It's Covid-19 safe since there are few people in the suburban streets.
No vaccines in Vietnam as of yet. The authorities are developing their own but this vaccine is not expected to come online before 2022. Apparently, they are also discussing with the UK about procuring the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine. Design-wise, the vaccine is similar to the one under development by Johnson&Johnson.
The main advantages of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine: it can be stored at regular refrigeration temperatures and it's 'cheap' at $3 to $4 per dose.
Some detailed information here, including on trial results and questions about the effective dosage: https://www.verywellhealth.com/astrazeneca-oxford-covid-19-vaccine-5093148

It is Sunday now, and I missed posting in this thread last Friday.
Yesterday, I tried out for the first time my CV 50mm 2.0 APO with the M10.
What have you been doing this weekend?
