what adapter for c/y lens onto a Leica R4 ?

hi, i spent a good hour hunting high and
low for information on how to do this.
since both camers/lens are no longer in
production, there isn't any new adapters
manufactured for it, hence a lack of
information.

any idea on how to get c/y lens onto a Leica R mount ?

The register distance (flange to film) for the Leica R mount is 1.5mm greater than that of the Contax/Yashica mount. No simple adapter would allow anything close to infinity focus. As a result, it is not surprising that no adapter exists.

Just buy a Contax body, many are great, and several are cheap.
