While I have all my HC-110 mixes memorized, the app does give dilutions for any developer on the chart from stock (granted I mix my HC-110 from syrup- my wife is a nurse so I have no end of syringes) for any volume up to 2L in 5ml increments. Pretty dang useful for us math morons.

You can add your own times in if you want, but I also use a notebook for notes. My darkroom wall is also covered with film/dev/dilution/time/temp crap.

A set of scissors to square up the end of the film (and clip the corners if you do that) before you start threading it onto the reel....not so fun fumbling around in the dark if you forget to grab them.

Dependent? Not hardly. But when trying out a new film or developer I really do love being able to check a huge range of tried and tested dev/dilution/time options in seconds instead of trying them all myself. 😉

Three different rolls of film and five different developers- chances are I'll find some developer/dilution that will cover them all close enough in about five minutes. That is a great thing in this head.
