What are the worst words in photography?

Dear Board,

Perhaps it's not the best term to discuss on a forum where film is the predominant media used but I really resent the use of the term "pinhead sensor" to describe the sensors in most of today's digital point and shoot cameras.

It lends credence to the idea that a photo cannot be good or interesting unless it is made with the latest and most technically advanced gear?

I judge a photo by whether or not it provokes an emotional response in me. I could care less what camera or medium was used to record it.

Regards,

Tim Murphy :)

full frame (dont get me started)
DSLR (as a generic term to refer to any "good camera")
"Is that a ...."
"Can you take a picture of ..."

Of the Leica digital Monochrom:

Me: "It's only black and white."
Man: "But it's digital - you've just set it black and white."
Me: "Usually that would be the case but this particular camera only does black and white."
Man: "You're kidding right? As if they would do that."
Me: "Well they did. There are good reasons."
Man: "Why limit what you can ....."
And so on.

and here I thought that a "pinhead sensor" detected pinheads who make stupid comments to photographers.....

"You can take some pictures at the wedding, right? A real photographer is sooo expensive"

Yes, expensive. Also experienced, capable and not already invited as a guest.

Words guaranteed to get me riled 'what camera should I buy?' Often said by well intentioned people looking for advice. How the hell should I know?
