You guys are amazing. As if learning photography from you was not overwhelming enough. Where’s the time to listen to all these jewels.

Ditto here. But if I don't think about the tinnitus, then I'm hearing the whoosh of cars on a nearby freeway... and I try to convince myself its actually the sound of a rushing stream.

Rediscovered FM Radio when remote from Tokyo... most of the time the area has three stations, mornings are non-stop tunes from the 60s & 70s - early evenings it's the classic station. No more schlepping CDs and I enjoy being surprised by the playlist.

That entire "Native American" CD is brilliant, especially his treatment of "Shadows" & "Summer Wages."

Well-known
At the moment: lots of Kanye West. Because of his occasional off-the-wall behaviour, outrageous pronouncements, out of control ego, and pandering to he-that-shall-not-be-named-good-riddance, it's easy to overlook just how brilliant he really is.

“Summer Wages”, yes it was hard to pick a single song from that CD. I guess I could have just said “Native American.”
As an aside, “John Wilkes Booth” was written by Mary Chapin Carpenter specifically for Tony Rice. Great song.

Hall and Oates, "Abandoned Luncheonette" album. Classic. I sometimes forget how good those guys were.
