What are you listening to at the moment?

don't think you can get better combo than this, Jeff Lynne ( ELO ), Ringo on drum, Clapton on Guitar and vocal, plus Paul McCartney on piano and vocal...
performing 'While my Guitar Gently Weeps'...

it's 2002, 'Concert for George' in Royal Albert Hall,

Clapton's solo guitar is...mild, compare to Prince's ( p# 4876 ), i mean that Prince is just wild...
i think Jeff Lynne was sweating on the Prince's version...

'While my Guitar Gently Weeps', Eric Clapton...

i think i'm going to 'upgrade' for a Fosi Class-D amp very very soon...

there is a time period that i thought 'Heroes' is the best rock and roll song...

written by Bowei and Brian Eno in 1977, this song is timeless...

a kind of hard to find a good audio quality in live version (Youtube), this one is good enough...

the official movie trailer of ' Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk' ( directed by my Taiwanese Country man the talented, Oscar winner Ang Lee) used 'Heroes' as background song, that was
a version by 'Scala and Kolacny Brothers'...

a kind of high on treble, deflate -2.0 i think...

^^ You are right! I've heard this many, many times @Out to Lunch and didn't know it was Faure. (y)

During their fundraising, our local Boston Classical Music Station (99.5 WCRB) plays excerpts from Faure's Requiem (along with the Duruflé Requiem)

While we're on vocal music - this is a beautiful orchestral backed version of Procol Harem's "A Whiter Shade of Pale" with Gary Brooker and the Band. His voice is still amazing and spot on.

Goosebumps... when the choir enters at the 4 minute mark.

Procol Harum performing A Whiter Shade of Pale with the Danish National Concert Orchestra and choir at Ledreborg Castle, Denmark in August 2006:
