What camera are you carrying RIGHT NOW?

Raid, TTV = Through the Viewfinder.

As for what specifically that is, it looks like a Panasonic GH-1 with an adapted SLR lens and a contraption hooking it up to an old TLR of some sort. At first I wondered how you look down the viewfinder without having to take all shots from a low angle, then I realized the GH-1 has a flip-out LCD.

Brilliant idea.

To stay on topic: OM-10 with manual adapter, 50/1.8, and 21/2.

Exactly; thanks for the explanation!
You can shoot with all angles you want with the flip-out LCD (extreme example : up your head if you want to see above a group of people) but you can shoot by the VF using the contraption horizontaly, but by the side : people can't understand that you're shooting them…
that system is a "toy" I love - the picture is inverse and the result remind me the old 6X6 I was using when I was young… unfortunatly my Rolleiflex and all my negatives was lost in the Arles's flood in 2003 :-(

today was a IIIf/Summitar day. a friend at work actually asked to see a different camera each day this week, so based in what's reasonable to carry with my plans for each day, current plan is:

monday - Nikon FM2N/50mm f1.2 AIS
tuesday - Leica IIIf/Summitar
wednesday - Pentax 67II/105mm f2.4
thursday - Yashica 124G
friday - Leica CL/40mm Summicron

we'll see if the schedule holds. more importantly, we'll see if I can get to the point where I CAN'T do a different camera each day of the week! that'd actually be nice, but it's hard to pass along the nice ones, and there's always something else nice out there as well.

M6 with Summicron 50/2. I threw my camera over my shoulder on the way out and just realized I don't have an extra roll of film. Oops...

I don't have a camera on my now but I am going to have my newly repaired IIIf with a, new to me, absolutely beautiful 50/3.5 Elmar lens with me in a little while. I also bought a Summar for it. I want to go out and shoot with it. Can't wait! Jim

Well, uh, this one.

I just came back from the world's largest skating rink. I think I skated 13 km today... great fun. and somehow I didn't fall- a small miracle considering I haven't skated in years!
