I made my usual summer evening ride around my neighborhood on my bicycle. I had my Hexar AF with me loaded with Agfa APX100 (Rollei Retro 100) exposed at ISO 50. Shot the whole roll as usual.
I've got four cameras filled with film:
1. M6 + 35 Summicron with color negative
2. IIIg + Summitar with B&W
3. III + 50 Elmar with B&W
4. M4 + 21 SA with B&W
I usually bring along only one each day, depending on what mood I'm in.
Well, actually I'm not carrying any camera right now. I'm sitting in front of the computer writing this. Ha Ha. anyway, I always have my G7 in my briefcase just because, and when I go out to photograph, I will take my M4-P and the lens choice of 35 Chron and 50 Lux. When I want to do serious Landscapes, I will bring my Mamiya 6 kit with the 3 lenses, and then only if I don't have to hike too far.
I'm pretty much down to one camera now since I gave away most of my working cameras to a local community college this week. I'm carrying and occasionally shooting with my new-to-me M4-2 with a loaned 40mm Summicron loaded with Legacy 400 that has taken too long to run through.
Maybe after I tire of shooting with a reliable camera with a reliable film counter one day, I can go back to the only functioning back-ups I have- 2 Kievs with 5 or so lenses.
I went to Dallas yesterday to photograph the Mav's victory parade. I brought my M6, 35mm Summicoron v.3 loaded with 4 rolls of Gold 200. and a 20D with a Tokina 28-70 lens.
starting to get somewhat careful shooting film and digital at the same time.
