Crappy weather today; dark skies, snow, and cold, so I am shooting with my Nikon FM3A and a 50/1.2 AIS lens. The weather will be better tomorrow, so I'll go out with my Rolleiflex

The 50mm 1.4 hood just gets on my nerves. It looks like these funnels installed on dog heads to protect themseves from scratching their ears. I need another one.

i've been carrying my Voigtlander Vito BL for a week.
not a single frame was shot because the slower speeds are sticky
so i popped in a dead roll and "dry-firing" it like compulsive act.
the 1/4 and 1/2 are now good and i am still struggling hard with the 1sec.
Brian Sweeney taught me this trick in my earliest post. i couldn't thank him enough.
