The camera I took on my bicycle just now is a 1961 M3 with 1959 Elmar 50/2.8. That Mercury camera looks like a Cardassian device from Star Trek DS9, Mr_Flibble.
I always feel that it looks like the love child of a parking meter and a 3D View Master 😀
When I just got it it actually sounded like a parking meter too when you fired the shutter.
LesTele, Yep. There's a lot of numbers on it, what with the DOF table on both sides of the camera and the frame counter going up to 65.
Not to mention an exposure calculator that took up 2.5 pages of the manual to explain 🙂
M2 and Canon 50/1.8 LTM loaded with Provia 100F. Why I picked a rainy, near-sunless week to try and shoot a roll of 100 speed slide film, I have no idea.
CL/35 color Skopar, Ikonta 520, Exakta Varex IIb/Vivitar 105. All loaded with HP5 (though metering for ISO 125 with the Ikonta, because it responded so well (=fine grain/sharpness) to an earlier roll accidentally exposed thus.
