I haven't sold anything so no such regrets. I have given a few items away to family. No regrets. If I wanted, I am sure I could ask to use them or even get them back. I have no desire to do either.
I recently bought back most of the favorites I regretted selling. /QUOTE]
I am doing the same thing (with vinyl LP's). But not cameras.
I have no regrets and too much stuff.
I regret selling my 1965 E Type Jaguar. I can rebuy any camera I sold

Oh well... i might find another one....
I have owned (at different times), two 1969 Dodge Chargers. Love to have the one with the 440 back again. But not for what they sell for now.
Everything. The first of three R-D1 cameras.
I've followed the rules of photography and motorcycles: never sell a Ducati; never sell a Leica.

I could not have been happier than when I sold my Duc 800SS.
Horrible horrible suspension. As if it had cement instead of oil in the dampers.
Ridiculous riding position given the performance envelope of the machine. Gas tank prone to rusting out due to a construction/design flaw.
My St4s was a perfect bike though. Nothing but excellent memories from that one.

Yes, great camera.
A great camera. The wonderful thing is all those lenses can still be used on the new Pentax Digital bodies. Even better now that they are coming out with a full frame body. I agree the old Pentax lenses often compare nicely with vintage Leitz glass.
