A couple of ARRI M18 HMIs and maybe some Kino Flos to go with them.
Anyways, getting back to reality, I'd love to try out an 8x10 and shoot some color negs.

$10k you say? I would go with a custom 6x12 folder with coupled rangefinder. probably two with different lenses - say 65mm & 120mm
put in a coupled light meter and AE and I will start searching for lost relatives
But I would be fine with latest Rolleiflex trio - FW, FX and FT ... wait! - they do not fit the budged
Forget the digital Pentax 645D - APSc of medium format

I would love to have a Nikon D3 or a Leica M9 or a digital Hasselblad but they are not a craving because they are items I actually need and could use. I simply cannot fiscally justify the expense.
I voted for other because for the longest, I have actually craved a Leica MP or a Nikon SP rangefinder with a 35mm f/1.4 lens and a fast 75mm or 90mm lens.
I say crave because there is no logical reason for me to buy these items. I already have a Nikon F2 SLR with a 35mm f/1.4 lens and an 85mm f/1.8 lens that is meeting my needs.

$10k. Hmmmm.
OK, here's what I'd snag:
M9-Already have all the lenses I need.
Contax 645- medium format beauty.
Contax T- why not have HCBs last camera fling.
That should do it, with change left over for a Happy Meal

Id spend it on doing an M.A. I don't have any desire for expensive gear now though I would quite like an A2 printer. But I really want to do an M.A.

Been doing some thinking on this, and here is my refined $10,000 gear list:
One perfectly tuned Pentax SP1000, plus Meyer-Optik Oreston 50/1.8, in hand, plus a used Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35/2.8 or Vivitar 28/2.8 macro, $150 for either.
Couple of tuned-up, manual, fixed lens RFs - Konica S III and Yashica Lynx 14E IC - in hand.
One hundred rolls of Arista Premium 400, $225.
New tires and a tune-up for the Scion XB, $600.
Epson V500 scanner, awaiting our return, $160.
Total so far: $1,135.
One bride who loves road trips, in hand.
Three-month road trip with the bride: $8,865.
Total: $10,000.

An Leica M6 would be pleasurable for me. Or maybe even a Nikon SP.

Sad to say, but after amassing a fine collection of LTM cameras and Lenses, I want a Nikon S2 RF system. Why? The prestige of Nikon over Canon and easier focusing for me--I'm a lefty and that focusing wheel is easier to use.

A fast, compact 28mm or 35mm would be awesome. Heck, my only 1.4 or faster glass is still the Lynx 14.
This whole $10,000 thing... it breaks my brain. All photography gear I've ever purchased only adds up to close to $2,500 and that includes about two dozen cameras and about a dozen lenses. I honestly don't know what I would do with a budget like that.
Granted, I can't justify buying an M series camera as I can't justify the lens purchases to myself. I could probably blow through money quickly with something like that. Heck, I could hardly justify the IIIc to myself. I'm rather jealous of those who are more capable of spending money on what fits their shooting style.

I'm taking stock - I have a bunch of cameras and lenses, most of which I use often. Although I have medium and large format stuff, I don't love it, so I wouldn't likely spring for more. Leica lenses are very expensive, and I do crave a nice fast one. But changing my RF work to be gear centric - you know changing lenses all the time - would cramp my style and I'd end up doing less photography. So that's out.
So, I'd buy an Tichy from the Howard Greenberg gallery.

Perhaps a Titanium Leica MP.... but wait.... I think I still can't afford it even with the US$10K windfall. Oh well.... it was a nice thought.

This changes with moods.
Lately I want a pre asph 35mm summilux. Older the better. Or a Canon 35mm f/1.5
I've also become fond of the 75mm focal length so I'd like a 75mm 'Lux as well.
And a Konica Hexar AF (black)
And I'd like a NOS set of Suntour Superbe Pro track hubs and a pair of NOS Mavic Open4 rims to build a matching clincher pair to my racing tubular wheels...

Other for me. No interest in using digital with RF, so a wide lens in M mount for my film Ms would be preferred over the M9. I'd make good use of a 21/1,4 lux asph...but to say "I crave it" is excessive. If it came my way, i'd be thankful and put it to use. Otherwise I prefer to focus on using what I have with my 35s, 50s and 75; pining away for what I don't have tends to waste away the present. There is a lot for me to shoot now; indeed, so much is visually interesting and light is found most everywhere....

Ohhhh, lets see.
If I had $10,000 allocated for cameras, it would buy me a Pentax 67ii, with the 45mm, 70mm, and 105mm lenses for it. And around $8,000 worth of film on top of that (that should keep me going for at least 6 years).
