What happened to M9 price??

It seems to be out of stock at all the usual places (B&H, Adorama, Popflash). The only place that claims to have stock (that I have found at any rate) lists it for $8,995

I haven't looked at it for a few months and the price shot up by 2,000. Is it still that scarce? 😱

just FYI, the german list price at the end of May was still Euro 5495 including 19% value-added tax.

It's still $6995 at any reasonable seller, but rarely in stock. The >$7000 prices are gougers and I wonder if they actually have the camera on hand when they sell it. I got mine by hawking Amazon.

Because of conversion rate/Leica pricing etc its actually a lot cheaper to order it from Germany/Austria dealers. Even with 100Euro international express shipping it comes out cheaper than buying it in the USA, specially when u have to pay tax on top of $7k price
