What have you just BOUGHT?

A Himatic 7s ii "as is" for USD 65 shipped, with case and strap. En route. Hopefully it would work. The seller, a thrift store owner, apparently doesn't know anything about it and didn't even bother to wipe off the dusts. I think I overpaid a little bit, but just cannot resist GAS ...

I've got some things I've been wanting to shoot with the view camera but lugging that 810 around in the field is getting to be too much. Going to try 45 for a while.

Minolta Hi-matic 9 off ebay a week ago for 32 dollars and some change. The camera is as close to mint as you can get and works perfectly. The only issue it had was bad light seals which I replaced two days ago.

I purchased a Leica M2 from KEH, rated ugly, for $144. The description listed the camera as a lever rewind model with the self timer. The listing further described the camera as being inoperative.

Got a deal on the shipping, it was free.

I expect the camera to look awful when it arrives. Anything better will be a plus. I have really low expectations.

It's not my first Leica, but it will be my first M series Leica camera.

my first leica glass, 90 tele-elmarit-m, got it in mail 2 days ago... to accomplish my voigtlanders :)

Congratulations! That's a nice lens. You are building up a nice rangefinder kit - a good complement to the Pentax and Limited lenses.

Got a nice FED 100 F6.3 ltm, clean glass and good condition on the lens itself. And from the same seller on you know where a FED 50 F3.5 clean glass and in great shape with a set of extension tubes tossed in all ltm. They are working great on my GXR when i don't want to carry the 90 F2.0 old style (big one) around.

Got to look out for one of those. Haven't seen them around here yet.

That still is an amazing Kamera! I love my K100D, although I have newer and "better" cams.
I understand you know the tricks to successfully use K-lenses on that cam?

Thanks Kent, my K lenses have been working well on what is a very nice camera, I hope I've not missed any tricks?!
