What have you just BOUGHT?

For Hasselblad SWC:
- original lens cap
- diffusor and green filters
- drop-in filter retaining ring
- 45 degree angle viewfinder for ground glass back
- original lens hood

I think I'm almost at the end of accessorizing yet-another-really-cool-camera. Now I have to get out and make some photos with it ... :)

I will check the serial number of my Leica II to see how far apart these brothers are. Thanks for helping me on this lens hunt.

Thanks, Bob!

My Leica II is from the first 1,000 cameras and I thought it nice to combine it with the most recent nickel lens, possibly the only lens ever made in this mount this century:D Only 600 made, a classic-to-be IMHO and mated with an old-time classic:cool:.

I'll keep an eye open for an LTM Summicron 2.0/50mm in great condition for you!

Happy holidays!

Just paid for this:

Getting it from Stephen and it will be living on my real-early nickel Leica II from 1932, and on the Leica M2 BRP (black re-paint).

I'm off, sleeping on the doormat until the postman rings:D

Very nice Johan - THAT was the 50mm, you were writing about :D

If you are mainly a 50/35mm shooter, I can understand you switching to this beauty!

Please show some photos of and made with this lens, once married to the body!

No new film gear. I did buy a Panasonic LX5 at the recent close out prices to replace a 7 year old digicam. I couldn't justify the LX7.

How spooky is that?
Yesterday, I dusted off my Crown Graphic, checked the rangefinder, checked the shutter, did a few Fuji instants, to check up all functions, checked out flash (I use a Nikon flash on bracket with this rig handheld).

I casually repeated my periodical websurfs to David Burnett's site and had a look at some auctions …

And this morning this … an ad on RFF for exactly that combo, I am so curious about since the large format bug bit me - an Aero Ektar + Speed Graphic.
I plan, to try this combo out for my street portraits and possibly find a 6x12 roll film back to experiment with formats.

I have no idea, how to tell this to my better half, especially as a few days ago, I have bought another 85mm Sonnar lens, I didn't disclose yet …

Do I need help? ;-)

I went from no Billingham bag two weeks ago to having two - a day before the the end of the year. One was a Christmas present, a lovely khaki 207. And then on Saturday I went to a Gitzo distributor to check out tripods and there it was, a F2.8 going for 54% off - and I couldn't resist.

Lumix LX7. I needed something lighter than my X10 or X100 for my purse. I hurt my shoulder and every gram counts now.
