What have you just BOUGHT?

From German Ebay, a barrel-mounted Schneider 120mm F6.8 Angulon. This lens has no shutter (don't need one; my SLR Plaubel Makiflexes have focal plane shutters).

My intention is to mount this lens into a Durst IXOTUB recessed enlarger board, and then attach the IXOTUB to a Plaubel Peco Jr. flat board. This project will involve a LOT of metal cutting.

Then this lens will go onto my three Makiflexes (see my avatar). I already have a 120mm Angulon (with Compur shutter) that I use on my Sinar Norma cameras. It is a Dagor formula, that covers 4x5" with moderate movements.

Great lens. Looking forward to using it on the Makiflexes, 120mm is ablout as wide as I can go with these bodies, being SLRs.

I got a couple of "junk" cameras, A Bencini Koroll 24s which is very interesting, and an Ansco Readyset Traveler complete with case and instruction folder. The instructions are a bit quaint.

Looks like there are some nice lenses for it.

photographing a picnic. one of the reasons why the photography has a meaning. souvenir photos are, in my opinion much more important than many photos "engaged."

Suday was Spring Swap meet here in Vancouver. Lots of people, lots of tables (120+). I went there with a determined mindset to only sell - almost made it too!
Could not resist a clean Nikonos III with spare seals and the 35f2.5 - and my "coup" of the day, 13 Nikon F screens, from A to G types - all for what you used to pay for a single screen in the past!

As you can see, so new, I have shot two rolls, more to go tomorrow, but haven't seen the results yet. In fact, the camera was faulty, but I have had the top off and I hope I have repaired the problem - which was that the double exposure prevention mechanism was sticking. Not sure if you should use WD-40 inside cameras - doubtless someone can advise. However, for £37, it is not worth too much worry.

First impressions are of the extreme portability of the machine, if it works, it could be a fave,

I have two of these. On one of mine, the double exposure prevention mechanism was worn to a point that you could trip it with the shutter button without cocking the shutter. At that point you either had to wind on and skip that frame, or use a cable release on the shutter itself. Removing the mechanism is easy so I took it out of both cameras.

Oh, latest purchases...We had a local camera show last weekend. I mostly bought cable releases and other odds and ends out of the $1 boxes, and some expired paper and film to play with.
 
Just received my new NEX-6 and Leica M adapter. I took it out to the arboretum this afternoon for a quick trial run with the ZM Sonnar C - I'm going to enjoy this system!
 
I just received a new NEX-6 (go Amazon!) and still am charging it - need to get a separate charger to avoid this maddening process. Will take it out for a spin once it's fully charged. Looking forward to testing this rig out!

You're going to enjoy the Nikonos....I'm told the lens is the same as the 35mm for the Nikon RF cameras.

I have had Nikonos's before. Used to use them for industrial photography as they survived in really ugly environment (sawmills, power plants etc). I also wanted to ensure nice sunny weather for a while - and a rain proof camera should ensure that.
