What have you just BOUGHT?

I agree about the M2 being lovely to use. I had an M4-P years ago, but didn't like the feel of as much as I do the M2. I haven't had any instances of "losing" the RF patch with the M2, which was sometimes a nuisance with the M4-P.

Thrift store find...
A Tamron P/U (M42) Adapter for $1
I was looking through some stuff and found it...
Also found a Like New Vivitar 28mm 2.8 lens in Minolta mount...it also had the original paperwork with it...I didn't buy it since I have nothing Minolta...

Ok, so I bought the EOS.....the 100 (couldn't find any decent 620)
Always hated these plastic cams, but now I have one, I really love it....
Buying was a bit risky since the seller couldn't guaranty that it still worked / battery was dead

But since new batteries are quite pricy and the camera could be died, I first gave it a try with a 6V transformer
Luckily the camera came to life when I raised the voltage from 4,5 to 6.

Here is my (new to me) Makiflex Sheet Film Back. On the left, are six Linhof 4x5" Sheet Film Holders, and on the right, are six Linhof 9x12cm Sheet Film Holders. These are great holders, they have a built-in pressure plate, which "presses" the film tightly against the fim plane and allows for super-sharp results. Why do I have 9x12cm as well as 4x5" film holders? Well, I have a lot in my deep freeze of both sizes of film. I just ordered 300 sheets of FOMA Retro Soft 320 9x12cm (from a shop in Germany) so I glad I have both sizes of holders!

This Makiflex Back is interesting. On the top and bottom, it has "flip latches" which you undo, and squeeze the holder into it's smaller configuration, and the re-do the latches. Then it fits 4x5" Graphic/Riteway/Lisco holders, which are much thinner than the Linhofs. All of these holders produce an 82mmx90cm image on the sheets films. Pretty cool stuff.

On a lark, I ordered a secondhand but practically new in the box Pentax K-01 yellow body from a source in Japan. A digital classic.. 🙂

I'll have to find a lens for it, I guess. A DA21/3.4 and FA43/1.9 Limited set sounds about perfect.... My two all time favorite Pentax lenses.

X-Rite i1 Pro monitor calibration tool.
Sadly i now have to start working on hundreds of images to make them look as they should have from the beginning.
Knowing what i know now, a monitor calibration tool should have been the next purchase after starting to work on digital files.

I just ordered a Nikon FE-10 body from KEH.
I was using a Nikon FG as my small, light body to wear around my neck, but the camera died and isn't worth the bother or cost to fix.
Besides, the FE-10 has more features (1/2000th shutter and depth of field preview) than the FG.
Yes, it is actually a Cosina-built camera, but so is my CV R2S Bessa which is based on the same basic Cosina body, and I've not had any problems with it, so I'm looking forward to using it when it arrives.

Today was a great day. Latest Rolleiflex automat model, and fujica st801, from local kijiji site.

The Rolleiflex speaks for itself, buff said. But the Fujica is my first, and it feels really solid. Very happy with both.
