Spent a little money this weekend; 250 EUR to be precise. I acquired:

* Rolleiflex 3.5F (with somewhat sluggish shutter and aperture but otherwise in good condition);
* Rolleinar set I-III;
* Rolleipol -1.5
* some other filter Rollei - R 1.5 (not sure what this is yet)
* set of expired film TMAX 100; expired 1995 (not sure how they've been stored)
* case
* original manual
* funky smelling old leather bag
* original camera case (not in the best condition)

I know I have some Zippo lighter fluid lying around somewhere. Gonna look up some DIY resources and clean up this baby 🙂

fti, at that price I'd strongly suggest sending the camera in for proper professional service. It may be costly but its worth it and you'll end up with a CLA'd camera close to the cost of one without service.

I picked up a copy of NY_Dans 'Never Seeing Nothing'. I also bought my wife a Nikon D7100 for Christmas to replace the D70s she's been using.

I've managed to pass on a bunch of really decent offers recently for gear I don't need. Between work and weather, I haven't done much shooting the last few months. It gets too tempting to impulse buy something when I'm in a state like this. I should hold off until I do some selling... unless a well priced excellent/late Summilux 35 pre-asph falls in to my lap. 😉

Voigtlander 15mm Superwide Heliar lens version III with Raqual M to Fuji X adapter, both from CameraQuest. Will have it this week.
I decided to go with the M lens and adapter so that I could use it on My E1/E2 cameras and my M cameras. It was between this and the Fuji 14 mm: Great lens, but for X bodies only. I won't miss the AF function for wide angle. Zone manual is fine.

a friend just gifted me an Olympus-35SP (black) w,case and original lens cover....as close to mint as I've ever seen any camera...tiny mark on the hot shoe...I bought a battery and all is well...now I know what the fuss was about years ago on this forum......I'll be taking it along on a family vacation during Christmas....best to all,Bill

The F3 has given me buyers remorse on a camera I bought 24 years ago.....
