What have you just BOUGHT?

Four 9x12 cm film sheaths to use with my Goerz ANGO plate holders and a...

Voigtländer Bessa II from 1951, a bit scratched but fully working. It's so beautiful :p

Just ordered a Peak Everyday Sling 5L bag. Should be here in the next couple of days. Never tried the sling option before. My Domke F-5xb and ONA Bowery are going up for sale. Hoping the sling type will be easier on my back and shoulders.

Got a call from the local thrift shop that I won their silent auction.

Picked it up today. I opened the beat-up leather case to find a pretty sweet looking Pentax ME with a very nice looking Pentax-M 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens.

Not bad for $10.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! The Everyday Sling 5L has been my standard "walking about" bag for a while, presuming a small kit. I just wish it would stay in place on my back more securely when I'm bicycling, thus my latest purchases.

I just got this "new" Nikon

Nikon F4, the best camera I've ever hated. It's such a weighty pig. ;)

I got the smallest battery pack for that very reason, but it's still no lightweight.

I will only be using it exclusively with manual focus lenses so I also picked up a "J" microprism screen.

Re: What have a I just bought?

A Horseman Convertible, black, with 62mm f5.6 lens, 6x7 and 6x9 backs. I also bought some cut film holders for it and a Polaroid back. Oh yes, and then an older 6x9 Wista ground glass back, which seats properly on the camera, but I think it needs adjustment for the focus plane to be right. I've not finished yet. I'm looking for accessories for this camera. An optical viewfinder (65mm for 6x9 or 28mm for 35mm), for example. That would make it much easier to use.

A re-print of an English-language Manual for my Welta Weltax 6x6/6x4.5.

A 25mm push on UV filter and a 25mm push on kodak 'cloud' filter, which according to the small instruction leaflet is a light yellow filter. I'll be using it with XP2 super, which I'm led to believe reacts with filters to a higher degree than normal film so I think it'll have an effect that's more like a dark yellow filter.

These two filters will be used with my Welta Perle 6x9. I'm beginning to think that I should be using 24mm push on accessories for it.

Would anyone believe me if I said an Olympus µ-II?

From a charity shop and it looks like new and seems to work as there was a film in it within minutes of getting home...

Ahh the F4, styled like a piece of a Tetris puzzle, as easy to hold as a greased pig. I returned mine after a day.

Seems no worse than your average DSLR, and I hear they're pretty popular.
Certainly as good or better than several medium format cameras I have owned...

Rescued a Nikon F2 with DW-2 finder from a charity shop in Edinburgh. Probably need to find an eye level finder for it though.

Received a 20mm f/2.8 FD lens as a wedding gift so I technically didn't buy it but it's the latest addition. I did just purchase a copy of "Doisneau." I'm planning on picking up Mark Seliger's latest book as well later this week or next.
