I bought "another bag". Woo hoo.
LOL!
Having spent a day carrying my Hasselblad 500CM again for the first time in ages, I realized that none of my bags made it a very handy thing to walk with. Now, ordinarily, this is not a problem since I tend to use it with a tripod most of the time. BUT there are those occasions when I just want to stuff it into a bag with some film and a second lens and go for a walk.
I decided after looking at every bag I had that none of them really made it very handy. The Wotancraft Easy Rider worked, but was clumsy. Most of the rest didn't really work, and particularly not if I used the 120mm or 50mm lens instead of the 80mm. In many of my bags, it simply wouldn't fit at all.
Looking at the variety of different bags available, the one that seems to suit what I'm looking for best is the new Peak Design Everyday Tote v2. So I ordered one and will test it out when it arrives. If it works, it will also work for the Hasselblad 907x when it arrives ... it has a similar if somewhat shorter camera form factor.
The worst thing for me to realize when it comes to buying camera equipment is that I need "another darn bag!" because I have so many of the things already. It's amazing that none of the ones I had already actually worked with this camera in a useful way.

Interesting design...early nineties? Please share some pics you took with it. OK...I got curious and looked it up: http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Fujifilm_Fotonex_3500ix_ZoomI saw this odd looking camera and wondered what it was about; the best way forward was to buy it and play...

Thanks for the reference which I didn't pick up in a few searches. It gives me a better chance of finding a manual for it. If I get anything out of the old film I'll be back...
BTW, it vaguely reminded me of the Leica (APS) C11.

I went nuts: Instax mini film, Instax square film, a crapload of 120 film and am looking for a Rolleinar for the Rolleiflex I bought last month. Merry Christmas to me.

A pair of glasses so I can use my Retina IIc without destroying my expensive everyday ones. Last summer I bought the IIc from member Mackinaw (Thanks, Jim!). All of my attempts to buffer the sharp edges of the eyepiece have fallen short but I didn't want to leave the camera on a shelf, so I went to one of the bargain eyewear shops. Now I have a pair to wear both for yard work and if they get scratched up by the Retina, not too expensive to repair.

A quiet cheap (for what it is) Rolleiflex 3.5 F, almost perfectly working, except the flash selector, which is blocked with a wooden wedge (by some former owner). It's not a problem, as I'm generally not interested in using flash.

Having gotten tired of the crummy recover on the Leica 1A I’ve had for years..... decided to recover. The camera sits stripped, and on its way from cameraleather a new covering in coarse grain sealskin. Hopefully have a bit of body to it I never bonded with the A because of its skinny feel with like glove thin leather. Oh the Waiting....

Traded in my largely unused Fuji XT30 for a brand new XH1 with grip. The latter is being offered at knockdown prices and sits beautifully in my hands. The former was just a bit small and I constantly fouled buttons. The presence of IS of up to 5 stops is a huge bonus for use with adapted glass and also with non IS lenses.
As I wanted a good colour option now I won't develop colour, this will now be my colour camera.
