This week I bought a Tamron Ct105 105mm f2.5 lens as part of my indoors/lowlight kit. It will go with my Tamron 01BB 24mm f2.5 lens and my Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens.
I know f2.5 isn't really all that fast but I can't afford f2's etc.
It seems to be in very good condition. I probably paid a bit much for it (£99.90 + £4.10 p+p), but it does come with front and rear caps, pk mount, hoya sky 1a and case, which is also in very good condition. I'll be replacing the filter for a hoya hmc sky1b and the front cap as it's a bit loose. I've also bought a metal hood for it. I will also replace the mount for a nikon ais mount. I've tried two other ais mounts. I tried the 2nd one as I couldn't quite get the 2.5 to line up near the middle of the gap between 2.8 and 2. With both mounts the 2.5 on the lens is always a tiny bit short of the 2.8 rather than being nearer the middle of the "2.8-2" gap as it is on the 24mm lens and the "32" on the mount is slightly to the right of the mark on the lens.
I hope this is normal for an adaptall 1 lens with an odd f No. paired with an adaptall 2 mount.

I just bought a Kodak Retina IIa. The camera is in remarkably good shape with no paint loss along the back and the embossed Kodak Retina looks like it did in 1952. On the auction pictures, it showed a roll of film inside. When the camera arrived today, this was what I found:

It's a good lens - I have one on my K10D. You might want to get a hood for it. I found a nice inexpensive Pentax metal hood designed for a 55mm film-era lens.

A quite unusual camera, a No.1A Speed Kodak, made c.1911-1913. I received it with a wonderful cosmetic condition, but with the shutter stuck, although curtains looked quite in good shape.
After gathering all the scarce information, I managed to disassembly the top of the camera and grind a bit one of the wheels, which blocked the movement. Now the camera works again, although only at the third top speeds. In slower speeds the curtains lag a lot, but for now I'm happy with this and I could even take some movement pictures, with 120 film plus adapters to the 116 format.
It can take pictures:

The Panasonic GX9 has revitalized my interest in shooting with Micro-FourThirds format and I've been enjoying using it with the two Olympus Body Cap Lens (15mm and 9mm Fisheye, both f/8) enough that I missed having my usual standard—a fast normal lens.
So I found an excellent condition used example of the Panasonic-Leica Summilux-DG 25mm f/1.4 ASPH available at a fair price. In prior times, that was one of my most-used lenses in both FourThirds and Micro-FourThirds versions on this format. I sold my original FT version to one friend and my mFT version to another friend who'd just gotten into mFT (both are still loving them) and figured, what the heck? It'll be great to have this lens back again for the GX9 (and E-M1 for that matter...). 🙂
