What have you just BOUGHT?

Could not resist a good looking F3 on the Goodwill site. Though it was marked "shutter does not fire, for parts or repair only", I felt like it would be worth a $60 gamble...and it was!

I received it today. The self-timer switch was on, and the power switch was off (and stiff). Self timer turned off, power switch turned on and new batteries installed - "click" All it needs now is a Jon Goodman foam kit, and we're off and snapping! There's some brassing around the eyepiece, but it looks only slightly used and very well taken care of.

All for $600! My credit card is still reeling, but I was shown this at my local camera store and had to jump on that deal while I could get it! The camera is in rather immaculate condition, too.

Voigtlander Bessa R with case and a Voigtlander 50mm Color Skopar 2.5 for $350 shipped. Will keep the lens and sell the camera.

Well, I just finished a trade with another RFF member...his mint Zeiss Sonnar for my Mint last series Elmarit 90.... it worked out to be a win-win for both of us. So far any time I have done a trade with a RFF member it has been a great experience. This is now my third trade. Sonnar now goes on my M5.

A 46mm screw-in cylindrical hood for my 25mm f/1.4 DG-Summilux. Lovely lens but the stock hood is huge, scares small children, and has a nasty habit of blocking the focus-assist light on my Olympus E-PM1.

90mm Summarit. Used, but unnoticeably so. I'll never get the APO 90mm Summicron, I'm resigned to that.

Here it is, the M4 MOT in ugly condition. I have wanted an original black-paint M4 for some time, I was lucky enough to find this one cheap. The paint is crap, but there are no dents, it operates as smooth as silk, and the L seal is still intact. I am debating restoring it or leaving it as is. It's wearing a Nokton 50/1.5 lens, one of my favorite performers.

Pentax Q with the standard lens + VF and the shorter zoom. I have no real need for it but the idea of shooting the moon with a 300mm attached to the Q just seems like something worth trying.

On the RF end, a 50mm collapsible for my Canon II-F.
