I just picked up my M Type 240, chrome, on Friday August 30th. I ordered it in May. A month ago I purchased the Olympus electronic view finder that works perfectly on this camera. In May I sold my M9 so it has been a long summer without an M camera. I was able to get by with a Fuji X-E1 and adaptor for Leica glass.

Well, I didn't buy it, but a friend pulled a dirty Canon EOS Rebel Xs fitted with EF 35-80 f/4-5.6 II lens out of the trash bin by his car on the way to meeting me for coffee yesterday, and handed it to me.
I cleaned it up with a rag and tossed in a fresh pair of batteries. Stuck in a roll of old DP200 film. Seems to be working perfectly: everything works, the film is loading properly, etc etc.
It's a lightweight cheese-whizz, all plastic camera, but stick a good lens on it and it should make nice photos. Now if only I had a good Canon lens ... NO. I'll give it away to someone soon.
I also have a Nikon F80(?) like this that also needs to go to a good home too. At least I have a couple of decent lenses for that one... ;-)

Just bought a beautiful Black Hexar AF today. Boy, couldn't be happier. Still a little unsure about the 1/250 max shutter (because of versatility, not motion blur), but apart from that I absolutely LOVE the camera. Normally I have a hard time shooting a roll a day when I'm out shooting, now I did 2 rolls in an hour or so. Maybe I just missed the 35mm focal length (have been shooting 50mm almost exclusively lately), but something tells me and this cam are going to be best buds.

You'll find the hear a great camera. Cheaper than a 35 summicron. It certainly is quirky. But give it a chance

A hidden find store find, but not a $5 find unfortunately! I am not complaining though...
Late wartime IIIc stepper (ding on the top plate) with the original 588 Summitar (flawless glass) all in the original case.

Zeiss Ikon ZM Super Wide, Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 2,8/21 ZM & matching
shade and the appropriated side grip - finally
(Okay, the picture isn´t actually my camera, it´s from an advertisment by
Zeiss, but it looks just like my camera. The only difference is, I have to
use my Contax G 21mm external viewfinder).

I finally found a reasonably priced Polaroid back for my Bronica ETRS. I wanted one for a while - ever since I got the Bronica last year - but most Ebay sellers want a ton of money for them. The cheapest European BIN is listed as 70 euros including shipping. Way too much for a gimmicky back.
Well, yesterday I was browsing Marktplaats, kind of like a Dutch Ebay, and found a seller who was getting rid of his Bronica and also listed a Polaroid back. I got it for 20 including shipping
Very nice price I'd say.
I was rather surprised that the seller hadn't sold it, but occasionally you do get lucky. I already received the shipping confirmation, so it should be here tuesday.

A collapsible 90mm Elmar in like new condition. Wow, what a lens! From the days of the DR and Rigid 50mm Summicrons, the Summaron and the v1 35mm Summicron. The ultimate in mechanical design and quality. Never been equalled afterwards. And it's supposed optically to be quite good as well. It's first roll is almost full..

An Olympus LS-7 PCM Sound Recorder, refurbished with warranty.
And not exactly a "buy" but a friend gave me another Nikon F body, this time a '65 with the clip-on selenium light meter.

A Contax G2 and G1 body. I almost sold my G1 with the lenses. The G2 has renewed my interest in the system.

The first time I've had a "real" rangefinder in about three years (my Argi and Ciros don't really count). I've always loved the styling on the Petris.
