Of late ?...a white Pentax K-r for backup. A Yashica-mat that's going to go out for a rebuild, CameraLeather "Griptac" covering to put on it, some series 6 filters and a digital point-n-shoot to replace the Kodak Z915 that broke.

More Stuff for my Plaubel Makiflexes.
More Stuff for my Plaubel Makiflexes.
A relatively-rare barrel-mounted Rodenstock 250mm H5.5 Imagon lens, mounted by me onto a Plaubel Peco Jr. Tubus lensboard. Shown with extra Imagon soft-focus disc (I have alot of these Imagon discs in my collection).
Also, the Plaubel Makina 6x9cm Pack Film Adapter. So beautifully made, that I wanted it just for that. Good 6x9cm Pack film is hard to source.

A bag, I finally bought that ACAM-11000 I was looking for years!
Curious how it works out, as I am usually a carry 10 lenses, end up using one for the day kind of guy…

I'm desperately trying to get the R8 / R9 out of my head and your post doesn't help me a bit.
And about the iphone image, just yesterday evening I found out what was the reason for the crappy images I got out of my iphone 4S. It appeared there was a translucent protective sticker on the lens protecting window
. After I removed it the pictures are like they're supposed to be.
Make sure there's no such thing on yours.

I suspose it won't help if I say that it is great to use and exceeding my expectations
Thanks for the phone tip but my phone is actually a Galaxy 4s. It normally takes better picks than my old iphone 4. I don't know why this was so bad. Taken on my work desk.
Cheers - John

200mm H5.8 Rodenstock Imagon (in barrel-mount)
200mm H5.8 Rodenstock Imagon (in barrel-mount)
My new 200mm H5.8 Rodenstock Imagon (in barrel mount) is here. It came mounted on a Zorkendorfer Adapter to go onto a 180mm Mamiya RB-67 lens. I unscrewed the expensive adapter, and the lens is like new. Went back into the basement of Midwest Photo Exchange, and found an old lens flange that fits it. Turns out, it is the same flange that fits the Copal and Compur #3, which is good to know.
I wasted no time, and cut out a modern (black) Plaubel Peco Jr lensboard, to fit the flange from Midwest. A quick trip to the local Lowes Hardware, and I had a set of five brass mounting screws. I think it looks close to original from the Plaubel factory. Here is one, that I think, is original, from the Plaubel factory. Can anybody here tell me if the lens in this link is original Plaubel, I would like to know?? The barrel-mounted 200mm Imagon is in the Plaubel Makiflex original literature, I can confirm that.

Anyway, eventually, I may re-mount this lens onto an extension tube-type board, so it will focus a bit closer. Right now, fifteen feet is about it for close-focus, on a flat board, which is rather limiting. Maybe, at the factory, it was moonted on an extension board??
Below is the lens ready-to-go, shown with the original Imagon Grey Neutral-Density Filter, and Imagon Lenshood. It looks kinda cool in black.

Two more of the sleek Artisan & Artist SX-70 cases from The Photo Village.
They're inexpensive, and fit a Polaroid SX-70, a pack of film, a FlashBar, and have a back pocket for exposed prints. I found I could fit the SLR670m with Time Machine in one with the Time Machine fitted, there's enough flap that the velcro secures. For an SX-70 Sonar, I need to add a little velcro extension piece but it still works too.
This has to be the nicest way to carry a minimal SX-70 camera kit around.
