I finally got around to buying a Nikon F3 HP. I've wanted one for a while now, because I really enjoy the tougher built pro and semi-pro SLR's. I have a Nikon F5, but there's a lot of charm in the F3.
I found a nice example with a bit of brassing from a second hand dealer. Another second hand seller had an MD-4 motor drive for it. So, both were ordered and are enjoying life together now
Pictured here with the Nikkor 28mm f3.5 and loaded with Ektar 100.
As 'luck' would have it, I was planning some shooting today but it's just too dark and grey for Ektar. Will get around to shooting this roll next week.

Looks grand! An F3/T with hp finder and MD-4 motor is without a doubt one of my most favorite Nikon cameras.

I'd pretty much decided I wasn't going to spend any more on camera equipment this year when I ran across mention of an Impossible Project pinhole instant camera. I'd never seen one for sale so I sent them a note and asked about it. They told me it was a project they tried but didn't go to market with.
However, MiNT sent me a "one time—ten units only—there will be no others!" offer to purchase such a camera a day or two later. They were sold out by the time I responded to the note.
A search around the web the following day uncovered http://the.supersense.com in Vienna and the 66/6 Pinhole Instant Camera. My conjecture is that this camera is what The Impossible Project was working on, a short run of them were made, but the project was abandoned as being too expensive, not enough market, or some such. At any rate, I ordered one.
Hopefully, they'll ship it and it will work...
Ah, the things that Instant Film obsession leads one to!

Sony Rx100 III. Based on the many positive comments here and from a friend who bought one i chose the Sony as a little easy carry digital.
So far so good but the set-up and the menu is a little cumbersome to get used to but IQ is pretty good.

I picked up a Fuji XF 10-24 from B&H and took advantage of the $200 off. I waited until last Thursday night to see if B&H had any interesting Black Friday deals that I could combine, but nothing interested me, so I ordered the lens, two rolls of Ilford Pan-F, and two Ilford mailers, to see how good their developing and scanning by mail program is. Of course, now that I have some ISO 50 film, the much-needed and much-delayed California rains finally arrive!
The 10-24 is a lot lighter, and a bit smaller, than I was expecting. It's large in diameter, but still fits in my Thinktank Retrospective 5 in the space where I'll likely either put it, the 60/2.4 or the 55-200. The 18-55 stays on the X-E1 and the 35/1.4 is almost always in the other lens space.

More Impossible instant film.
The Instant Lab with round-frame B&W film was a big hit at my workshop group's annual holiday party last evening.

Olympus 35 DC. It continues my purchases of these lovely little rangefinder cameras - adding to an RC, RD and SP.
Favourite - my RC, my dad bought it in 1970 when it came out, but he died in 1971 (no connection), so lots of nostalgia and fond memories come with it every time I use it. And I do use it ...

Just got a Rolleiflex 2.8 D with Xenotar lens in Excellent ++ condition. Off it goes for a good CLA of the entire camera. Mostly probably will install one of my newer Spot Magnifier Microprism Rollei screen.

Recently bought a Nikon F6 (looks almost brand new), Nikkor 28-70 f2.8 AF-S, Nikon SB-800 flash, focusing screen J for Nikon F6 (microprism in center to help manual focusing), -3 diopter for Nikon F6, and a LumoPro LP180 flash. Got most of these for decent prices, but still amounted to a good chunk of cash all together. However, this stuff should prove useful with regards to my legal work, which is a major reason I bought this stuff. I am looking for a 70-200 AF lens too for work purposes.

Just picked up the Nikon F3HP + MD4 from RFFer Jbrianfoto. This is my fourth F3. My first one I bought with the MD4 almost 15 years ago cost me about $800. They have been getting less and less expensive which is great for the buyers but really says something for the market since the cost of used film photo gear is often 10% of new.
