Thank you. I am already ... This is the fourth 180/2.8 I've owned since 1978, albeit the first AF version. It's a wonderful lens, just at the far limit of what I am normally looking for in terms of focal length.

I was a little surprised to see that the AF model, although it looks bulkier than the AI-S model, is actually a little slimmer and a little lighter in my memory. I haven't looked up the spec to see if its actually true. 🙂

Nikon d750 and MB-D16 battery grip. Reluctantly decided I needed a digital camera to share pics as I am always struggling to scan a large backlog of negs. Chose body to take advantage of Nikon af lenses and flashes that I already have for my F6 bodies. I did consider getting a mirrorless Fuji Xt-1, oly em-1 or sony a7 II to use my numerous OM lenses, but decided I wanted full af for my aging eyes.

A vintage Mamiya-6 folder from the 1950s. Focus wheel is a little stiff, rangefinder patch is poor but the glass, bellows and film chamber are in very good shape.
