Since my birthday was last week, I treated myself-
A 180mm for my Mamiya C3
A Nikon 8008S from KEH to replace a Nikon 6006 with that hard to find battery-$11 !
A Vivitar 283 in BGN shape for $4
Another 283 in As-Is shape....for...89 cents ! after cleaning the battery terminals, and reforming the capacitor, it works fine
A Vivitar VP-1 for the 283's for my hummingbird photography
A pair of cheap hotshoe flash slaves off Ebay-again for my hummingbird photography.

Just looked these up: expensive! 🙂

If you develop enough film it will pay for itself ;-)

When looking at what a roll of slide film will run in development cost in the western world with most low cost labs gone and the few left over high quality labs having had to raise their prices to remain profitable in their offering, such a developing machine looks less and less pricey.
I hope companies as JoBo will remain and offer film gear offerings as such.

I just received an early Christmas present from my wife - an Eizo CG318 - I love my wife!

a rather minty nikon F3 serial nr from 1998 and the nikkor 50mm f1.4. Since i've been shooting with rangefinders lately I forgot how heavy a slr could be but what a machine!

A 28mm Summicron was to arrive Wednesday morning via 2 day delivery. I found my postman before I left for work and asked him if he had my package. I had the lensless M in my bag -ready for the day. He said "no package for you."
I live in Oregon and the lens was shipped from California - neighboring states. Anyhow, that morning my lens arrived in FLORIDA! Since then, there has not been any updates until this morning. My lens made it back to this side of the country. Hopefully it will be delivered this morning.

Just arrived from Switzerland... 🙂

Well I just got three rolls of b/w film from Ukraine sent to me by my wife who is in Lviv at the moment. It's boxed with the "Astrum" label which I believe is the old Svema film. I got a roll of 100, 200, & 400 to try out. Fresh rolls exp 2017. Should be fun!

I got a Nikonos IV-A. While I wasn't planning on taking it underwater, I at least hoped it would be good for wet weather, and dirty environments. Alas, the meter doesn't work, and the shutter is jammed. I can probably open it up to release the jam, but without the meter system, it will only work on 1/90.

PF

ps: Opened it up yesterday evening, and it is toast. Lots of salt and corrosion inside the electronics compartment. It's okay for a display piece though.
