That's the best 90 mm Leica ever made.
It's not as deadly as the ASPH, has plenty of soul wide open and yet it performs equal to the mighty 90 Elmarit-M at same aperture.

How did they manage to keep it so small and light for what it does? Great lens the E55 90/2!

I just re-stocked on Wera screw drivers. Oh and that Japanese #10 super light helicoid lube I bought a few days ago works like magic on the stubborn 35/1.2 v1 that never really wanted to focus - now it's smooth as butter!

Thanks Jon for the tip on the Japanese lube ;-)

M3,50/2 Summicron col, 35/3.5 Summarit/goggles, 90/4 Elmar, 135/4.5 Hektar, Leica meter (it works!) and matching lens shade. From Craigslist, too cheap to say no!

Ha, I just had the same conundrum here in Denver. Found an M4/35mm Summicron ver. 2/50mm Summicron Ver. 3/90mm Tele-elmarit "fat" as a kit for cheap. Couldn't resist. Not keeping all of it, but just really wanted the 35/50 at low cost. Great kit you got and you just gotta love the M3 at a good price.

I did something spontaneous and bought a used Pentax Q off the 'Bay. I know the sensor is absurdly small, it's possibly a dead 'system', and there's no viewfinder, but I have a weakness for small cameras. I plan on having it in my jacket pocket at all times.

The prime lens and telephoto zooms are surprisingly expensive still, so I'll have to keep an eye out.

The Q is a fun little camera. Loads of interesting C mount lenses are available and they can work well on the Q. Because of that tiny sensor you can have a huge telephoto effective FOV with a small lens.
