What have you just BOUGHT?

Fujifilm Finepix 4700 - and why not for a bit of fun?
The screen size is minute with even smaller writing and the viewfinder shows more than the camera captures.
I put a couple of pictures into the Gallery - taken,by mistake and ignorance, at the minimal pixel size. For a 2000 made camera, what can you expect?
But the main thing is that the results put a smile on my face!

This ...

Best camera carrier I've had yet.
Needless to say, most of my money has not gone into photographic equipment of late. 🙂

enjoy!

Very nice little roadster-ish Mercedes 🙂

I guess that pokes a hole in the theory that Leica owners are affluent, eh? 😉

Godfrey, wow!

I bought 17 rolls of HP5 120 film, a Chinese 67mm screw on filter for my Distagon 50, and a used real Hasselblad hood for my Planar 80.

Of all things, I picked up a Canon Elph Jr. for $3 at a thrift shop. I put a battery in it, turned it on, and found that it had a brand new roll of film in it.

Back when my first daughter was born I thought about buying one to take baby pictures, but couldn't justify the high price. That daughter graduated high school this summer. The irony amused me, so the first few pictures were of her, purple hair and all.

Went to a yard sale yesterday, told the guy I was looking for cameras.

He says, "Come here, let me show you something." He walks me into the house, into a closet in a back bedroom. He pushes aside some clothing and pulls out an Omega View 45D large-format studio monorail with a Rodenstock Geronar 210/6.8, along with a Bogen tripod.

Wow. Just wow.

We talk, I explain just exactly what the hell it is (His Fiancee is a photographer and got it basically for free, but she had no desire for it) and settle on a price of $200 for the outfit.

Dang, that is a heckuva a deal. I always liked those Omegas.

Luigi Crescenzi's LeicaTime 'basic case' for a new (to me) Leica M-E.

Arrived within 18 hours after ordering it too. Amazing.

I was travelling yesterday and at the airport Dixons had a 200 GBP discount on Fuji 14/2.8 demo model - 389 GBP after discount, so at the current pound rate...and on the spur of the moment...

Two years ago I bought my Sony A7S within one day of travelling. If you're going somewhere special, you need that camera or lens to suit...

First I was misreading «for all the Fuji cameras», but I'm still wondering in what sense did you use «for» here 😉

Yes. That was awkward phrasing. I should have said "on the Fuji cameras".I'm really enjoying using the adapted lenses on the XT1. We have four of them plus two X pro 1's so that was the source for "all".

Nikonos 20mm lens w/viewfinder & a green Nikonos V w/20mm sea&sea lens. I have been wanting a green one to back up my red. The 20mm lens may be better for diving as I always found the 35mm a little tight. But, seriously the Mercedes looks too good to drive.
