Unfortunately, I'm buying my way back into working 6x7 cameras!
I pulled the Mamiya 7II out for an upcoming trip and it won't fire the shutter after winding to the first frame. Off to precision camera works for service, won't be back in time for the trip.
Next up is the Pentax 67II - locked winder, can't even load. I know the problem - a relay that releases the film advance - but parts are no longer available. A bit of disassembly, trip to the store for a can of tv tuner cleaner, back together and seems to work as it should.
Maybe something fully mechanical in my future?

Local purchase. Early Canon F-1 with an interesting Tilt/Shift 35/2.8 lens.
The camera needs light seals, but the lens looks to be in excellent condition.

I bought a Centon pV27 tripod on ebay. It's in good condition and just needed a bit of a wash. It even fits into the tripod bag that came with a hama tripod I bought new some years ago. That ruddy thing broke, so I was left with two quick release plates, a couple of small allen keys and the bag which came with it.
The PV27 came with a tripod bag that was too small for it, but it just fits the Centon PV23 that I bought some weeks ago. I just need a quick release plate for that then I'd have a tripod suitable for my heavier camer gear and one suitable for my gevaert gevabox 6x9 V1.

Picked this up locally this morning. The shutter button is sticky but everything else works. It even came loaded with film. 😀

Yep, I haven't checked it for accuracy yet but the needle moves, that really surprised me, I don't expect a selenium meter of that age to be still working.

I bought a boxed, cased,Gossen Sixtry and a leather case for it:

I've done a quick check against my variosix F and it seems to be pretty close, with the main problem being the difficulty in deciding on exactly where the very short needle is pointing. The variosix showing say an LV number of 9.34 and the sixtry showing a blank space between the short line at '9' and the long line at '9.5'. The other problem is at either end of the LV scale where 2 half values have their long lines almost completely converging in one slightly thicker line. then there's the full value's short line in between them. Which bit of the 'thicker line' is the pointer pointing at? the '2.5'? The '3'? The '3.5'? etc.
Forgot to mention that the last 2 digits of the serial number on the box are almost impossible to read, just like they are on the back of the meter itself. For some reason this made me laugh.
Edit 1: PS: Exactly how hard is it supposed to be to turn the film speed dial?
EDIT 2: On further testing, in slightly lower light, it seems the sixtry isn't quite so near my variosix as I first thought.

I have a Konica Big Mini 201 on its way from Deutschland. First film camera in years, looking forward to it with great anticipation. I would have liked a Contax T2 or the Hexar AF (again) but the prices have become prohibitive.

I just found a time capsule of sorts, a cased Polaroid 210 Land Camera. It came with half a pack of film in the camera, a new pack of black and white film in the box, plus a pack of matches from before ZIP Codes. It's as if the camera was bought, used briefly, and then set aside since 1967 or so.
Oh, that company, "My Little Salesman," is still in business. Google told me that they started out when I was in high school as a catalog of logging equipment and parts here in the Eugene, Oregon area. One of the founders may have actually been the dad of one of my classmates in junior high and high school. They're still in business, now as a web company.
It's a shame nobody makes pack film for Polaroid Land cameras anymore. Fujifilm is getting quite rare and expensive a year or two after getting out of the business. I almost want to slap some new film in it, and a new battery and see what it can do....

3 older 5x7 film holders... a total bargain...because they came with 2 extra dark slides & I have a box with a brand new holder...that has no dark slides. Only took a couple of years!
