Came across 2 Leica CL 50 Jahre, both in their boxes, unfilled out warranty cards, all the accessories included. Both look like brand new and never used. Inserted battery with the CRIS adapter and both fired up and meter correctly. Time to shoot some film.

Not really liking the shutter release. The rubber boot for water resistance dulls the break point and needs more effort, so much so I much prefer the release on my F2. I'm hoping I get used to it.

Looking at zwicko's haul, and xlmike's Nokton, I'm almost a little reluctant to say I picked up a Konica Auto S2 yesterday. How do you follow those?

The S2 is still a little grimy, but I cleaned the glass, loaded a battery, and checked the meter, and they check out. The aperture adjusts, so I loaded some film, and I'll give it a try. I'll post a picture after I get the exterior cleaned up.

No justification, it was on sale, and I wanted an alternative to the Eddy Bauer canvas bag I've used as my daily carry for perhaps 30 years.

I just got back from the Yodobashi Camera store (Yokohama) with a brand new Sigma Sd Quattro "H" camera body. It's still in the box, battery needs charging, all the setting up needs to be set up, I need this camera like I need a hole in the head, and... I'm as happy as can be!

I'll be out tomorrow seeing what's what about it.

Just bought this nice little Minolta for $20, it's in pretty good condition apart from two hairline cracks on the grip. Other than those cracks everything works just as it should, i really like this camera. Can't wait to put some film through it. I almost bought the baby beercan, but i wanna see how this one performs first.
