What have you just BOUGHT?

A back brake for one om my bmx bikes, wife thinks l am mad for still riding bmx at the age of 52, worse than mad for having no brakes

Tell her how brakeless is the standard for all the young kids these days, I'm sure that will help her understand. :D

I just purchased a Sekonic L718 meter at a heck of a deal, at least compared to what they are going for on the auction site.

I also brought a set of enlarger contrast filters home the same day. Is it normal for filter number 3 to be missing? The shop had both a new and a used set of the same filters and they were both missing #3. I did an extremely brief google search to see what I could find and didn't see anything. He explained to me two options, that #3 is the least used filter so most companies don't include it OR that #3 is basically like not using a filter at all so there is no reason to make it.

A new pair of shoes. A copy of "Hell's Angels" by the prophet, Hunter Thompson. A David Bowie CD. A vanilla malt from Shake Shack. A few rolls of TriX.
About to pull the cord on at least 800ft of DXN 5222 and another 400ft of TXR 7266.

My 21st roll/cartridge of "Lomo 110 Tiger 200" film turned up earlier today.

I suppose I could say that I almost "panic bought" them.

The woman who works for Lomo who told me "they had no particular plans to re-stock either their colour 120 film or their tiger 200 film" certainly knew what she was doing.

Today, after many reflections i bought a 1986 Noctilux 5mm f1 for my analog M camera's.

Can't wait to use it!

I bought a Lomo Blik rangefinder:

(As usual, click on the thumb for big pic.)

Feels a bit less 'plasticky' than I'd expected. The rangefinder window is a bit bright for my taste, I prefer a slightly more 'even' balance between it and the real image. It was 'out' a bit when I got it but I've managed to adjust it, although when I checked it against the moon (through an inconvenient thin cloud) it seems to need a little more adjustment, but I think we'll get there in the end.

I got it to use with my Welta Weltax.

Just purchased two Nikon N75's at about $30 each. I now own 3. Hope at least one will be still working in 10 years or so when I hit 85.

Got them for the AF feature plus these cameras are extremely light (compared to my M6) and compact. Will use one as a companion to a medium format camera.

Been looking at Nikkormats all week because one of the techs at a local shop likes to paint both camera bodies and lenses. Stopped by today and they brought out two boxes of Nikkormats in various states of disrepair. I picked out a fairly nice FT2 and am currently deciding on both color and body cover. Sent Hugo Leather a question about the stingray leather and have been looking at various colors from Duracoat. Thinking about OD green but there are a lot of other colors that have caught my attention. Black and green, gray and crimson, tan and copper, any suggestions?
