What have you just BOUGHT?

Good to know. So a presoak is required? I don't generally pre-soak so I'm curious if I need to perform the step. I've started loading my own film so this one intrigues me.

It's not required but I like to do it with all films to remove anti-halation and swell the emulsion to more quickly uptake devloper. The data sheet for DXN5222 states there is a lubricant added to the film to allow it to pass through motion picture gates at high speed while keeping static down and encouraging smooth transport. That is enough for me to want to remove it before adding developer. At least that's the theory. Whatever your method, pick one that works, with one developer, and stick with it.

6 rolls of 35mm Fomapan 100, one of Polaroid Originals SX70 colour pack, and... entering into the real of infrared, a 52mm IR filter for my Nikkor f2 50mm (to be used with my Nikon F1) and a roll of Rollei Infrared 400.

Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 Planar in C/Y mount. I currently have two Yashica 50mm lenses (the f/2 and f/1.9) but now I'll probably just keep the Zeiss, although I like the f/2 a lot.

2 GX80's and an Olympus 17mm 1.7 I like the style and feel of the GX series and have found after using the 2.8 that I really like the 17(35)mm field of view. On the other hand I sold off my Sony A7 kit as health issues have rendered it unusable for even reasonable periods of time.

Absolutely by chance (I was buying a tripod), a Kodak Type 021 Model I Retina IIIc w/ Rodenstock 50mm f/2.0 Heligon :)

I bought this :

A Pentacon Electric 50mm for my Praktica FX2, didn't need it to be 'electric' of course, but now I have the option of getting one of the L-series electrics.

I also bought a metal hoya 49mm lens hood for it.

Picked up a dream lens!

The rangefinder matches at infinity but the lens front focuses a lot. Has anyone adjusted the focus on these on their own?

I bought this:

(Click on thumbs)

A Tamron 24mm 01BB, for my Nikon F301. It's all good bar a very thin, faint, shallow line that is quite long on the front of the lens. I think it may be a 'scratch' in the lens coating. It's barely noticeable in the right light with my reading glasses on and it isn't much easier to see when looked at through an Industar 61LD lens, so I'm hoping it won't have an effect on the photos.
