What have you just BOUGHT?

An R8 and winder, one of my bucket list cameras at a price that I could justify. Now, off to find a ROM lens...

A wonderfully preserved Kodak Medalist I made during WW2, in 1944 (code EE in the lens). As such is almost sure that it was used by the US Navy or Army. And several 620 spools to respool 120 film in them and use the camera.

Konica Autowreflex T3 with a Hexanon 50 f/1.7. Some oil on blades so will disassembly for a good cleaning. Otherwise lens and camera is on great shape.

A mint FujiX100F from B&H for backup for the MP240 for an upcoming trip around the world. I almost went with a new Ricoh GR3 but the 35 FOV, amazing viewfinder and built in flash won me over to the X100F. I had the first one and loved it.

Wonderful things.

My Fujinon XF 16mm f2.8 R WR lens has arrived!

Unfortunately it is a cold, dark, rainy day today so I’ll wait until tomorrow to test drive this little beauty.

One thing I was not expecting to see on this lens is a label proudly stating:

Made in Philippines
Fabriqué aux Philippines

Mike

Not photo related, but I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend (though I did fund its purchase in part by selling some unused photo gear).

Found this in a little antique shop in Grass Valley CA for 35.00 so I bought it and loaded a short roll of HP-5 to test and once we get some good weather I will test it and see if it needs to make a trip to NZ.

Retina I, haven't confirmed which model yet. Needs a cleaning

A single owner M42 Pentax kit with a SV, Super Tak 55/f1.8, Super Tak 200/f4 and Light Meter II, all with original hoods, cases, manuals and accessories.

Then I picked up a very clean S-M-C Tak 28/f3.5 with case and hood to go with it :)

Unfortunately it's all in the post at the moment, so pictures will have to wait...

It is a Retina I model 148. Great camera, one of my favorites. That Ektar lens does well. Shoot some color with it too.
