Just bought a 16mm f3.5 Nikkor full frame Fisheye. It’s the first full frame fisheye that Nikon made. It turns out the one I bought is number 22 from the last Nikon made.

Most of the Zeiss stuff needed service. Ye serviced an M2.
Sold --- > Leica R6.2, Leicaflex SL (black paint), Super Ikonta IV, Voigtlander 35/2 Ultron, Nikkor LTM 50/2, Topcor 50/2 ltm, Canon 50/1.5 ltm.
Ha, ha, lots of impulse purchases this summer. Wonder if the pandemic had anything to do with it. Some of it is already getting resold.

Haha. I've used a few Sonys through the years A7R, A7II, A7RII... but this seems more my style. I had too many Fujis, so I wanted something different.
I'll sell some Fujis to pay for it. This particular Sony, coupled with these new Sigma lenses with aperture rings, seem to have corrected some Sony gripes of mine. I also bought a 4x5" View Camera recently...

I have made a couple of purchases I am quite happy with. The first is a 300mm f4.5 Konica AR lens. It is really sweet, mint condition and the price was only $120 AUD (under $100 USD). It had been sitting around for quite a time unsold so the seller discounted it quite deeply for me if I took it that day. Which I did I have made a few shots with it and found it is an interesting option for a range of subjects. I even used it for some street shots. (See below at the bottom of this post.)
The second purchase made tonight was by happenstance - something I stumbled on without really looking or expecting. I have been carrying my previous Billingham Hadley original (large) for over 20 years pretty much on a daily basis. To the point where the canvass has the beginnings of a hole where it rubs against my hip and most of the leather trim has degraded and cracked. I toyed with the idea of having it repaired though I knew that it would cost probably between one and two hundred to bring it back more or less to spec. This one came up at $250 AUD on eBay from a local seller and is in extremely clean, almost mint condition though he says there is some minor wear. I figured it is well worth it given what new Hadleys go for.
My only query is whether it is the small one (it does look like a slightly smaller version of the original Hadley). But too late now!
Street photo made with Konica 300mm 4.5 I ever so slightly missed focus (the subject was moving fast towards me so it was a matter of relying on focus peaking and luck). Still I like it.

BTW I have my eye on an Ernemann Miniature Klapp 6x4.5 -- sorta like the precursor to the Ermanox. Big difference of course is the lens - 75/4.5 only.

I like it, too. The slight softness and glow around the woman is really nice. The bokeh is equally pleasant and non-distracting.
You’ll find that lens to be surprisingly sharp. I don’t know what magic spell Nikon put on it, but it’s my favorite 35mm lens.

Leica R 28-70 f3.5-4.5 ROM zoom lens. For some reason the seller (in Japan) offered it at a ridiculous price (below market here in the US). Now, it's home, attached to my new (to me) R8.
