Bay I filters and accessories are much cheaper than Bay II and III because there were much more Rolleiflex and Japanese TLRs taking this size. I used Yashica accessories when I had my Rolleicord.I really should get a Bay 1 pair for my 'Cord III. My wallet is angry with you for reminding me of them![]()

Here's a funny one.
Went to the local pawn shop to make a payment. Looked at the camera case for any Nikon lenses they might have. Nope, but a black paint Canon AE-1 Program was there. I asked to look at it. 135/3.5 on it. Dusty but no haze or fungus, shutter sounds good. Battery needs replacement so the meter is unknown. No price tag so I offered $40 for it. They took it 😎
Got home and dug through my boxes. I haven't shot Canon FD in _years_ but I don't tend to get rid of too much. And, yep, I found a small box with a Cosina 28/2.8
& my mother's old 3rd party zooms from the early 80's. A Kalimar 28-70/3.5 & a Soligar 80-200/4.5, a Vivitar 135/2.8 and 2(!) Canon 50/1.8's

Dear Board,
In the last 2 weeks I bought a little of this, a little of that, and another thing from ShopGoodwill. I suspect that I may have used up all my good luck at ShopGoodwill so I'm going to lay low for a while.
2 working SRT101's, one with a 50mm f1.7 MC Rokkor and the other with a 35mm f2.8 MC Rokkor. I needed to buy a battery compartment door for the one with the 50mm so that added a little to the cost. But I also got a nice space age Olympus IS-300 that works for a song. Not bad for $ 85.00 total with shipping being $ 35.00 of it.

Tim, those two SR-T 101s look pretty nice, and those are two very decent lenses, as well.
I say well done!

Finally bit the bullet and bought a 180/2.8 Olympia Sonnar for my Hasselblad 1000f that I'd been eyeing for most of last year.

First of all I have to admit that I did not buy the MS-Optical Perar 3.5/35 Super Triplet II, I did a trade with a 7Artisan Photoelectric 1.4/35. In fact I had received the 7Artisan lens as a partial payment for a large format lens that I sold. The Perar looks to be in very good shape. The aperture ring is a bit stiff so I will have to loosen the fastening ring at the back slightly.

My new-to-me '57 Kiev 4A now has a Jupiter 8M (50mm f/2) and a Jupiter 12 (35mm f/2.8), and there's a Jupiter 9 (85mm f/2) on the way!

Five M1.2 x 2mm grub screws. Just the thing for fixing the focus ring on a Retinette 1B, despite the original screw appearing to be 1.28mm they seem to be a snug fit. If you are in the UK, give Polar Bear Cameras a look.

Picked up a type 014 Retina II with Schneider-Kreuznach lens. Seems to be in great shape. Running the first roll through it right now. What are my options for filters? When I've purchased vintage filters and examined the threads with a macro lens, it made me skeptical of going that route in the future. I have some very nice new 40.5mm filters with appropriate step up rings for some of my cameras. I don't seem to see any 29.5-40.5 step ups.

This week I bought a Minolta 110 slr mkII, 6x Lomo 110 Tiger 200asa, 10x expired in 2005 Fuji 110 Superia 200asa (in case the Tiger 200 is still not that good even a couple of years after being told by them in an email that they were "working on improving it"), 1x expired in 2009 110 Sakura 200asa ("made in EU", so Ferannia or Agfa), 1x expired in 2009 Kodak Ultra 400asa, 4x Lomo 110 Orca 100asa in case they've improved it from the last film I had several years ago.
