The word "conviction" will fit better than "believe", will be a better translation.

At least at the moment when I do something out of conviction, I am sure that it is right.

Sometimes I am convinced of something wrong.
but I do it with the same conviction, only wrongly.
The resulting learning effect is all the greater.

The 125mm is in very nice shape and must have lived its life in a studio as it has shot a little under 10,000 rolls of film. (87,100 shutter actuations)

Robert's must have bought out a studios old film gear. They got in 5 or more GX680 III bodies, a bunch of lenses and some of the harder to find accessories.

About the same time they also listed a bunch of SL66 gear including a couple of really nice SL66SE kits.

I resisted but *almost* bit on a Rollei 80mm for the SL66 to see if I could adapt it to a Bronica.

Their search function isn't working right so it is a little hard to find all of the GX680 and SL66 gear.

Come on, Shawn, don't you need to dive into a nice SL66 system? It's my dream camera, so if you buy one, I can enjoy it vicariously here on RFF! 😉
Actually, I see the 80mm Planars for the Rollei 6000 system going pretty cheaply, under $300. I don't know how you would get the electronically activated diaphragm to work, however, but you seem pretty clever at hacking cameras. That Planar is, well, a Planar! 'Nuff said...

I thought about the SL66 but for square format I'm really loving the EC-TLII with its auto exposure. For tilt usage the GX680 offers way more control than the SL66.

Wasn't looking at the 6000 80mm. Looking at the one for the SL66 so it has a mechanical diaphragm. Robert's had 3 or 4 of them for sale, a couple below $300. The nicest one (later marked HFT) was about $350 and it is gone now. (not to me) The SL66 has a *slightly* longer flange focal length than the Bronica so it might be doable. I'd try to print a thin adapter to fit the Rollei into a Bronica helicoid. I have so many bronica helicoids that if I had to I could make it a fixed mount.
 
traded/sold Q2M for Q2, figured out how to convert b&w close enough with it. I didn't need the exc. high iso of Q2M; don't shoot low light much. Can compensate to my eyes w/sharpening to come close to Q2M with Q2. Bought it from Japan for good price since none were available used here in US recently, what a terrific lens the Summilux 28 1.7, it really is what others say, <$4k for the lens & get camera as bonus. (edit: got the grip on amzn for $46, can change battery & card plus the cutouts make it very light)

... Follow up: The M6TTL 0.85x arrived yesterday. It is in even better shape seen in person than in the photos. I immediately put a battery in it, loaded a roll of Ilford HP5, and fitted the Heliar Classic 50mm f/1.5 VM with a yellow-green filter. 3 miles of walking later, I'm up to frame 26, I'll finish the rest and process today. But I can already tell that it's working perfectly! 😀
