What have you just BOUGHT?

It has been my second photography book. On this Forum, there is people who has so great photographic cultura that I feel so small... and yesterday I saw this book on a library... and thought on a thread of the forum, around HCB and the 50mm focal lenses... and I decided to buy it.

I normally don't look at the great photographers work ... yes, maybe it isn't good... but at the same time, I think I can do my own way on the photography world... I don't expect/want to live by photography ... I want to live my life and at the same time create pictures that reflect what is important to me.

And I don't like traveling to make pictures, I love having a camera in my daily life, my bigest travel and capture these things.

It isn't about which one is better, I think it is about how is each one and be proud of it.

When I see the thread of Lynn about his travel to the USA on his young days I ADIMRE it... it's incredible for me.

Different persons, different ways of "living photography"... and so I love to be a part of this forum...

Got a pack of 10xTMax 100 on local sale. Received Nikon F801, but it is not working as expected. It is not advancing the film after 5th frame. Tried different film and batteries without success. Sad, but I bought it for the lens - AF Nikkor 50/1.8 and the lens works fine on N6006 body.
Got myself another trouble - make a remote deal with unknown person and PayPal Friends payment for Contax IIa and never heard back from the person from Germany, Belvedere. I know, it is a wrong way to pay to unknown someone, but somehow I was lucky earlier and trust people still. The day of mixed impressions 😊

Not the silliest thing I've ever purchased: Ever had some days which just felt like..?
I was about to buy some of these once but I didn't. I see what you mean though. I don't know if they were popular outside Greece thought.

Continuing with the non-photography related purchases, I paid £20 for this Accurist watch from the late 60s.

It carries a Peseux 7046 movement, only 3.1mm thick. It needed a new stem as I couldn't set the date - the seller refunded the money. The new stem cost me £10. Not bad.

It's cute that you think this ;) I said "No more Leica" after I bought a IIIf. I said it again after I got an M2. One more time when I bought an M5. I, uhm ... just bought an M4...
Bought a brand new MP and said it was my last! Then I saw a lovely IIf red scale three minutes later and caved in.

You know what you need for that Barnack body? A bunch of Voigtlander LTM Color-Skopars. DAMHIKT.

Also, if I buy an M3, I would have every classic M body from the M2 through the M5. But I won't do that, because "I'm not buying any more Leica (tm)"
