What have you just BOUGHT?

It came today. Look even better than I anticipated. Like someone got pissed after a year or two and said to heck with the nazis and stuck it in the case and stored it away. All works though. A couple peeling edges on the leather but after the conditioner has soaked in good I’ll pliobond those down.

Good luck with the new car!

... regards batteries: I had the same feeling when I pulled out my MiNT Polaroid flashbar yesterday, discovered I'd left the batteries in it—clicked it on, it charged up and took photos as if I'd just put it away yesterday. It's been over a year and a half since I last used it! Score a win for Eneloop NiMH AAA batteries ...

The Kodak LR9 battery in my M5 is at least 15 years old and works fine. I have a Varta battery in a Gossen meter that is much more than twenty years old and still works.

Smallrig Thumb grip for the x100vi. This one is more subtle than my existing one. It moves the thumb further away from the VF which works better for portrait shots.

Hidden Screen Grip case for the Fuji is on the way.

Have a used WCL-X100 on the way that I will add a magnet to make the x100vi automatically apply the converter correction. Fingers crossed that the rumors of 65x24 mode coming to the x100vi are true. With the WCL it would be equivalent to a 50mm on xPan

I am trying to find a 12 Step group dealing with lens addictions. This lens is in customs in Memphis right now. Once they are sure it is not a nuclear device it will be on its way to me, sometime this week. I have the SBS and it is just a great lens, subtle and honest. This one fixes foxus shift but is otherwise the same lens.

I bought myself a Ricoh GR IIIx to go with my Leica M4 in my bag. I don't have any other digital camera and I wanted to be able to continue taking color photos without spending too much money on Kodak 500t film. For black and white photos I’ll continue to rely on my Leica et HP5 bulk roll 😁

I love the camera, and I've managed to forget about the lack of a viewfinder. The camera is so compact, and the Snapfocus function is so practical for my work!
