As a fellow M5 50 Jahre edition owner, I agree. Awesome camera. You'll love it. The whole design concept is so ahead of its time - maybe even a bit ahead of our time! I have the 50 Jahre edition and it gets pretty regular use.

Very cool! I had never heard of Radio Shack before they bought Allied Radio in 1970, hadn't known that they had sold cameras. I had a Micronta 35 but had just figured the name was a coincidence. Thanks for these links! I was looking at the 1963 catalog, and wondering whether anyone can identify the otherwise unidentified cameras at the top of the pages.

I will post plenty images when it gets here 🙂That looks like a nice lens, and I like the DoF indication. I'll be interested to see some photos made with it.

Which supplier? Two replacement leather coverings for IIIf.
Super tiny but a great match for the MX/ME!I was finally able to buy a pancake lens for my Pentax MX. There are quite a few options I just did not want to pay the over inflated prices these go for nowadays.
I ended up with the Pentax M 40mm f2.8.
WOW the focus ring is just a little sliver and narrow than the aperture ring!
A supplier from PRC. I used to get leatherette coverings from Aki Asahi but he had stopped offering coverings for Barnack cameras.Which supplier?
no picture (or link)......??i just bought another Nikon FM from eBay, the last of camera purchases.
Happy shooting,
Bill

I’ve been looking for one as well but have a hard time justifying the price when I compare them to the fa43 ltd.I was finally able to buy a pancake lens for my Pentax MX. There are quite a few options I just did not want to pay the over inflated prices these go for nowadays.

I think something 3D printed would work, perhaps something that has threads on one end to accept the adapter, and some sort of mechanism on the other side that clamps onto the SWC finder to align the two optics. Or does the SWC finder have threads for diopters?I'm trying to figure out how to mount a Nikon right-angle viewfinder onto the viewfinder of a Hasselblad superwide camera.
I'm very amused by the little leatherette patches over the Halina's badging!Very cool! I had never heard of Radio Shack before they bought Allied Radio in 1970, hadn't known that they had sold cameras. I had a Micronta 35 but had just figured the name was a coincidence.
The cameras at the top of Page 138 look like Tarons, not sure the model names off hand; the half frame (item (G) at left) is a Taron Chic.

Bit of a shame they were so shoddily made put together, because they are quite handsome.
I think I put those there because the badges had fallen off and left open holes.I'm very amused by the little leatherette patches over the Halina's badging!

Ah, I thought it was factory! I repainted the red badge, and was going to print and varnish a pic of the other, as much to push my abilities as for the camera's sake.I think I put those there because the badges had fallen off and left open holes.
