What have you just BOUGHT?

Second hand Voigtlander 75 1.9

Now I have a perfect (for me) mini setup for small trips:

MP
summicron 35
ultron 75

this is my first 75mm.
I have a tele elmarit 90, but it's too long to use with rf for my tastes. And the 50s are too short to couple with a 35mm lens.
It's a pity my only camera with 75mm window is the MP

Bought a Minoltina AL-S on ebay being sold as a Minoltina P. I think it needs a CLA with regards to the shutter, it works, but occasionally it doesnt want to open. Not sure if I feel comfortable doing it myself. May run a test roll first, before sending it off for a CLA.

Feels like it was left inside the case for ages as the meter outdoors seems to only be about a stop under exposed. And I was able to replace the beamsplitter on it, what a pain that was since it was tough to find info on aligning the rangefinder, one english site mentioned how to vertically align it, but not horizontal) and found it via a Japanese site if anyone is interested (明日は明日の風が吹く ミノルチナの距離計は). Horizontal alignment is very sensitive on how much it goes off..

Another $20 down the drain, perfect glass and mechanics.

Ahhh. I also have this lens. Maybe just my copy, but it's one of the most disappointing Nikon lenses I own. Only two Tamron lenses (no longer owned) were more disappointing. Please let us know if your copy performs well. Maybe I just need to adjust something or find another copy?
$20 is a very worthwhile gamble! I'd have done it....even if I did already have one of those.

I found a Minolta 250mm F5.6 Mirror lens for really cheap, didn't realize they were so expensive. It has some fungus in the front lens element. Can't seem to get it apart to clean off despite the online guide. I may send it out to see.

Went to the Cincinnati Camera Show on Saturday (travelled down from Indianapolis) and picked up these items. And then went record and book shopping afterward. The Camera Show is always fun, even if it's not real big, and good heavens Cincy has some great record stores (we hit up Shake It Records and Alien Records) as well as the fantastic The Ohio Book Store, where I picked up a volume by Thomas Ruff I'd been seeking. (It was only $50, not what it's listed at on Amazon.)IMG_3766.JPG

I upgraded my AI converted 135mm f/3.5 Q Nikkor to the 135mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor last year. You won't be disappointed!

The fungus may not have any effect. What’s it look like, got a pic?
I think it has some coating issues too. Rear element is clean, but the rear filter did need some cleaning. I tested it on digital and the results on some random test shots came out ok.

Going to need to try it on one of my Minolta bodies.

Has the filter on the rear and also the original hood. Saw the prices online for it and the stickered price at the antique mall, and it was a no brainer to buy.
