What is the Best Body for 75mm Lens?

Either a 0.85 M6/MP or the economy version, a Bessa R3 which has a free standing 75 frame! I must admit that I keep putting the 75's on the R3M/A more often than on a M6/MP. I cant stand the "double vision" of the 50/75 frame in them.
I never had a problem with rangefinder accuracy with the 75f1.4 either on the R3's - @ f1,4 and close - you have to be careful anyway and the shorter base of the R3 could cause problem, but I never had "fuzzy" shots that could be blamed on the finder.

I use either standard M6 with 1.25 magnifier or M3 with 90mm framelines. At 0.7 close focus the latter works very well, also gives me some cropping room for 8x10.

For slower 75s (like the Heliar), the Bessa R3a is outstanding.

Cheers,

Roland.

I am with Tom A. and Peter on this, but there is another budge option: A Bessa T w/external finder. My Bessa T focuses fast lenses (50/1, 75/1.4) spot on. You can even put a CV trigger winder on it.
