I can't choose between M2, M3 and S2. Must be black paint above all.

As of now, my Leica M3. As of an hour ago, my Leica III and yesterday my Rolleiflex 2.8F. It's the results of developing the film I shot with them in that sequence!

Yeah I will be posting soon in the Lomo thread. Kinda blown away actually and I now feel this camera is worth every penny. At least the one I have!

I happen to favor the M8 and the M3 these last few days. I added the Standard Leica to the mix!

My favorite camera is my Mamiya RZ67 with that amazing 110/2.8 lens. Buts its not the most practical camera because it is awkward to carry. I don't mind its size & weight, but it is so uncomfortable wearing it around the shoulder strap because it hits my hips and its hurts! Carrying in my hand while walking around is not much of an option because it is so heavy. But these BIG 6x7 negatives are simply amazing and make it worthwhile schlepping around. And I love the reaction of the people when they see that monster, ranging from shock to hysterical laughter.
For practicality, my favorite is the M4 with a 50/2 Rigid. Love the simplicity and build quality. But when you get used to 6x7 negatives and you see the 35mm negatives from the Leica, I'm often disappointed and think "Seriously, that's it!?"

For digital, my favorite camera is M10. Very satisfying when using it. It can deliver very nice DNG file for me to edit.
For film, my favorite cameras are KE-7A, Nikon SP 2005 and IIIG.

I found the 2015 bill of sale for my Leica M-E. When it's sensor went bad some two year later, I could not send it in... Whatever Leica will offer me as a replacement camera, will most probably be my next favorite rangefinder digital camera.

This 1936 Pilot 6.

It's a fun camera to use, and renders images that seem like hyperrealist paintings of a photograph more than an actual photograph. I suspect it's the veiling flare which lightens shadows and can lend a color cast to the whole image based on whatever color is most vibrant that creates rendering more in keeping with what a painter would choose than how a modern camera records.

At the moment? Leica R9. The R8/R9 were the pinnacle of MF SLRs. A joy to use.
Next week I have an inkling that the Nikon FM3a will fill that slot.

Over the last year, my Contax iia has become my favorite camera (and the Voigtlander SC Skopar 21mm f4 lens has become my favorite lens for the Contax). It takes nice pictures, it is compact, it is easy to travel with, and it is fun to shoot with. It does feels like a small precision machine. I do shoot occasionally Fujifilm XT-2 (which is a brilliant camera, but I have been travelling a fair amount, and it is actually less convenient than the Contax, plus I like the results I get on film- especially B&W) and less so with my Kodak Retina Reflex IV. I am neglecting my M42 cameras.
