It's a fun camera to use, and renders images that seem like hyperrealist paintings of a photograph more than an actual photograph. I suspect it's the veiling flare which lightens shadows and can lend a color cast to the whole image based on whatever color is most vibrant that creates rendering more in keeping with what a painter would choose than how a modern camera records.
Very nice indeed!

The Pentax 6x7, although the close runners up are Horseman 842 Convertible and Mamiya RB67!

Been using my BP M6TTL Millennium with a 28mm Elmarit the last couple of months. Love the 28mm field of view.
That's gotta be a hot looking camera. Black paint Millennium, wow. Any photos from this combination on your flickr yet?

I can't really boil it down to one favorite. At various times, it has been my Leica M2; M7; Hasselblad SWC; Hasselblad 500C/M; Fuji X100; Nikon FE2; D700. Funny, my M9 hasn't made the list, yet. Good camera, though. I can't even write this without going back and editing, obsessing over the choices.

Whatever anyone does to answer this question do not - I repeat - do not post a list of your cameras and say that any one of them on any given day would be just fine. The world will come to an end and people will crawl out from under rocks to have a go at you.

Horses for courses. Sunny season here so loving sigmas at the moment.
But I want to say...my favourite camera to hold is probably my old Lumix G2, there is something sensual about that warm rubbery roundness in my hand. It's the main reason I keep it. Plus it doesn't get sticky either, no matter how much you handle it.

Fuji X-H1. Beautiful shutter feel/sound; great viewfinder; excellent grip.

Today, the Leicaflex SL2. Perfect in my hand, the film advance lever stays out of the way when opened to activate the meter, the microprism focussing screen is so good, the shutter sounds like an automatic pistol being cocked, and it's a perfect weight and size to balance the 80mm Summilux R. Each shot was an erotic dream.

Currently, either one of my Nikon FG's or my GAF L-ES. I love the L-ES for giving me auto exposure with ANY screw mount lens.

5x7/13x18cm Sinar Norma Camera with Sinar Norma 165mm F8 Super Angulon, 5x7 Bag Bellows, and TTL 5x7/13x18cm Sinarsix Meter.
Norma Cables Connect the Norma Shutter to the rear standard of the camera.
This is wickedly fast to operate for many reasons. Many times I have gotten commercial photos in fleeting light with Norma rigs.
By the way this was photographed in by studio by Broncolor Hazylight on a giant Matthews Stand.

For 135 format, my trusty M2-R (with my favourite non-asph 35/1,4 summilux). For MF, it is my Mamiya 7... 6x7 rocks my eyes

Right now it’s a Rolleiflex 75/3.5. The only camera with me. (Cell phone excluded.) I’m traveling with my wife in Belarus (her home country.)

Right now, it's my Hasselblad 500C/M. I tend to shoot less and less 35mm film these days

At the moment, it's the Hasselblad 500 C/M with the 60mm lens and 45° viewfinder. It's a bit on the heavy side, but shooting it is a joy and oh, those lovely negatives!
Eventually I'll make my way back to the LHSA M6 TTL and 50mm Summilux + 35mm Summicron ASPH pairing.
I always do.

Fuji X-E2 - ease of use and the jpg output is more than adequate for 90% of my shots.

My fave camera is usually a Contax, but lately I've been shooting several rolls with my Pentacon Six TL and the Vega 28B 120mm f2.8. It's such a fun camera to use and then you get 13 frames on one 120 roll. The Vega is really sharp and has the smoothest bokeh I've ever seen.

Minolta CLE of course, but I still get absolutely stunning photos from my $20 clamshell Olympus Inifinity Junior too, still an "undiscovered" excellent P&S from the 90s.
