A few too many and a hundred ain't enough...

Honestly lusting after nothing at the moment. Looking forward to the return of a Contax I from Henry Scherer; within the last six months or so it has moved from thirty-something to number ten on his list, shouldn't be long now. Glad I don't have to decide what to keep -- that would be like "Sophie's Choice."

Alright; Looks like a lot of you have A LOT of equipment. Wow. I thought I had problem, not any more. I just love what I have and feel guilty when I even look at another camera.

I'm not even going to go there... I've noted the extremes, from 2 to several hundred, and can gladly say I fit inbetween those. I've also noted the several formats, and have a bit of just about all, except LF 4x5 and up.
I fairly actively use several bags, depending on what I'm thinking of shooting or just how I feel on a given day. My main RF bag usually has a Canon P and a 7s in it. They mount a 35/2 and either a 50/1.2 or a 50/0.95, with a couple others depending on the shoot. I also have a bag with a Contax IIa BD and a IIIa CD, both with 50/1.5's that I just like to shoot for pleasure once in a while. My primary SLR bag generally has a Canon F-1N/MD and either an EF or an A-1 with a few lenses. I also use an Arax/Kiev 64 and/or a Mamiya G with 120 holders for most of my MF shoots. Also have a Rollieflex 3.5E Xenotar and a couple of Ansco Automatic Reflex (pretty, quirky camera with a so-so lens), and a lovely Crown Graphic and a Busch Pressman C (modified for Graphic 120) that get occasional use. On increasingly rare occasions, I get out one or two of a dozen + screw mount Canon RF's (SII to IVSb2 + VI-L ++) and a Zorki 1 and a Kiev. There are others, too many others, but it never seems to be a good time to weed out the things I might sell or more likely trade.
I like and appreciate fine craftsmanship. It is almost a lost art, iot seems, with plasticy trash being the norm for items that obselete or break rapidly after purchase. I do enjoy the cameras that you could drive tent stakes with...., not that I'd try that with any of mine.
If anyone has gotten this far, it's early in the AM, and I have to get up to go to Maine tomorrow! Nite all :angel:
